What do you think about Mavs, guys?
They might be interesting this season.
They acquired 3rd pick on Draft Luka Dončić and with some more players they can fight for Playoffs.
Since they have space in cap salary, they can sign one Center, even maybe Cousins or Capela.

Starting five: Dennis Smith Jr., Luka Dončić, Wesley Mathews, Harrison Barnes, Center
On bench they would have: JJ Barea, Dirk Nowitzki, Nerlens Noel...

Interesting team to watch next season Smiley

Surprised that someone here is interested in Dallas Mavericks. Smiley I followed this team since 2003 and always updated at some of the happenings in the squad.

As far as the latest rumor is concern, some of the names that they might get this summer is DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan. Clint Capela is just an option because it will depend on Rockets marketing as in the first place, they really want to retain Capela. But the story will changed if Rockets will really target Paul George or LeBron James. Well let's just see the progress.

Cousins on the other hand still will not seen on action during the early phase of the season so still Mavs aren't sure if they will take the shot of this guy as part of rebuilding process. They need more young guys to fulfill their first squad. Smith Jr. able to make good stats last season as a rookie and I see he will be one of the future face of the Maveriks. On the other hand, Im hoping that Doncic will do the same or much even better.

Well, I must say I miss them all these years. They were strugling last couple seasons and that was hard to watch.., At least they got good place at Nba Lottery which enabled them to get good pick (Dončić)

Also, Dončić is from my area so I will start following Mavs much often from now. I hope they sign some good Center and complete squad.

And looks like they are really aiming for a good center. They are already complete there. Just lacking with the defense specially on the paint area. That must not be left blank at all times. There should be someone to substitute out there just so the other team will know there is a good defender inside for making them doubt to go in.

Is Dirk still playing this year?
I would say each team should really have to focus on defense on paint area which i do consider this as a crucial point to make score and if other team they do know the teams flaw then its normal that they would took advantage out of it until the game ends since they do know that theres no defender. Each team should focus or patch up on their flaws or areas on where they are weak. I dont have any info if Dirk would still play this year.

The NBA is still going to be dominated by Golden State for years to come, I'll admit its a bit disappointing how they are the favorite every year.  Oh well, at least there are a lot of good young teams like the timberwolves that may challenge them in the future.  It's always fun to bet on the point spreads anyway.
I agree with you bud, this Warriors team is going to be the team to beat for at least 3 years for me. We have to give credit to the management of the Golden State Warriors for keeping their core intact and there is no much controversy going around with their players.

Well for next season probably but 2 to 3 years, we wouldn't know. The players in the free agent market and the teams aren't making any moves yet and one trade or a few acquisitions can considerably change the way we see things. Golden state hasn't been that dominant this season if you think about it and they were within a win from losing to the rockets in the west finals. A rockets team without cp3.

I agree with you (because I am a Warrior fan Grin). If they will not change the current roster of the team especially the starters, they can dominate for 2-3 years maybe before a team can defeat them in the playoffs. Maybe if Lebron will go to Houston with Harden, Paul, Capela, and another all star player then there is a chance that Warriors will be defeated.

Watch out for 76ers and Celtics these season. They have a young roster but we saw that they clinched in the playoffs especially the Celtics who doesn't have Irving and Hayward and yet they reached the ECF.

Golden State Warriors have the perfect team balance. No other team is able to match their line-up, which includes players such as Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. 3 out of the top 10 NBA players are from this team. Minnesota Timberwolves is a promising team, but they have miles to go before offering any meaningful challenge to the Golden State Warriors.
You said it right mate, not unless Houston will make some additional adjustment we seen that they fought good last season and almost defeat the golden state warriors, this team is also trying to give back the throne we need to remember that they also a champ back when drexler and olajuwon was there, maybe the franchise also aiming for another ring.

No matter what team he goes, Lebron was born to be defeated! Grin
Ooooooooh. What about the times he won? Doesn't that count? Ha!  Shocked I think you meant born to be great  Cheesy He is already. Just admit  Cool

It was Kyrie who made him won with the Cavs and it was Ray who did it for him in Miami. He was born to make other player great! He made Green the best defensive player in the NBA by blocking Bron's dunk! Waahhhh! He made Steph the best shooter in the NBA! He made Kevin 2/2 MPVs in the finals! And lastly, he made MJ the GOAT!
Best support all time? I guess he could also do that. Haha. A lot of things has happened and we are just here to watch. Definitely one of the greatest players  Cool

Ouch. So are you mean dude. Lol. He was 3 rings though, so think he is born a winner. But the league has changed a lot since Jordan and to an extent Kobe so its not really good to compare them (if that is where your whole argument is coming from). That's why he is chasing at least Kobe for the number of rings but to be fair with him, his name always comes out in the discussion for who is the GOAT in this era.

The GOAT in this era is James... James Harden!  Grin Look at the MVP awarding...
Ha. Nice one James!

Now, when NBA Draft is over, teams can start calculating with Free agents. LeBron James will say his decision in following days. The most favorized teams to take him are Lakers and 76ers, but in my opinion there is a big chance he will stay in Cavaliers and try to bring some superstars as he normally do.
This will be a hell of a interesting free agency to watch, looking forward to it!
The Cavs management are doing their best to stay Lebron on the team. If he will be traded, I would like him to go to 76ers. A young roster like Celtics but can be a playoff contender. He would fit in there.

Lebron will be a perfect fit to any team, I guess. But if he elected to go to 76ers, he will have a center that he can just throw the ball and slam it home. But I don't know if those 2 will blend together, maybe it will be another Kyrie incident again, ego's flying and the next thing we know, the team is suffering, because they can't get along very well.

Now if the management wants Lebron to stay in Cavs, they must reshuffle their roster and put some all star caliber players because Lebron can't do all things himself. He needs some back up from other players.

I think they really need to do everything they can to let Lebron stay on the Cavs. And remember, that's his home town, so chances are he will stay. But the management will really need to overhaul their teams and get players that will help and contribute. What he need is not a superstar, but at least a player that is consistent day in day out.

If the Cavaliers have still enough funds to keep lebron stay on their team,  they must change the lineup as well that might can defeat their rivalry team which Is GS Team.

Lol. Everyone is really targeting GSW because they are the champions. Look at how Houston build their team because they really wanted to challenge GSW but fell short. What I'm trying to say is that instead of Cavs management aiming at GSW, the management should focus more on surrounding Lebron with consistent players before talking about challenging GSW.
That could be possible, if Lebron were able to make the Miami Heat a champion team when he joined, he can also make that possible
with the cavaliers. What I notice is that after Kyrie Irving traded to Celtics, their chemistry is not working anymore, they have one season to build that again but of course with news players on board.

With their current roster, you are right.

But this isn't always their era and if they only manage to remain consistent with their plays, training and team coordination, they can still dominate.

I won't say that "every" year but not all the champions remained to their throne, just like the old the times.
