For West teams there would be some nasty clashing out with those super teams.

You can't blame us, blame it to the warriors because they are building a super team and this people has no pride anymore.
I would not overestimate the East as well because I know they are being dominated by Lebron which has no chance to win against the depending champion.

Since way back long, Western Conference is already way more dominant than East teams. So generally, even prior to the effort that Golden State Warriros made to where they are now as a superteam. That's why it difficult to compete for the West. Also the last playoffs spot for the West can be 5th or 6th if put on the Eastern conference. That's how dominant West is.

But it doesn't mean that East teams are not exciting anymore. Again we can't speculate it early as there might be happenings along the way that will surprised us.

I really believed that Leonard wants out of San Antonio Spurs since last year because he really did play for a few games and then the "injury excuses" starting to surface. So for me it clearly shows that he wanted another team. So I would be really surprised if he did sign a max deal. Perhaps Lakers can't afford him anymore since they already sign Lebron James. That's where he wants to sign, I guess he needs to look at other options now.

I also believe in that. Leonard really wants out and would rather play in another team. There are a lot of news that document the unhappiness that he has towards the Spurs. I also read that the Lakers have lost interest and the opportunity for the Raptors has gone up. Probably they could get him.

Nah, he didn't sign contract yet but he has big reason to stay in Spurs:

Leonard was clear that he wants in Los Angeles, precisely in Lakers. However, just on July 16 this year, there have been three years since signing the contract on two sides, which means Spurs first star can now be offeedr a supermaximal contract. He would be $ 221 million in five years, and that's a number that no team can offer him.

However, if Lenard does leave, he will no longer be able to sign such an agreement. If he is traded, only for six months he will be able to extend the contract, and only for four years for 108 million dollars. As a free player, which he would become at the end of the season, he will be entitled to a five-year contract of a maximum of $ 190 million if he goes to a team other than San Antonio Spurs and thus lose the potential $ 31 million.

Supermaximal contract can only be offered by a club that has drafted him or who has given him a long-term contract, and that its games, including statistics and trophies, deserves that privilege. Leonard deserved it, and so he acquired the right from July 16 this year to sign a contract with Spars. But only with Spars and with no other team.

Yes in the end, those big names on the West will clash each other and only one of them will enter the finals to battle the champion of the East. It's not too much for the East and I believed they can show up a competition.

And as I mentioned, we don't know the plans of other teams. There will be trades or sometimes unexpected blockbuster trades that might involved the East teams. Again we can't just conclude what will happened in the end. For a NBA fan, especially if rooting in one of the East teams, there is no such thing as not excitement in their every game.

Regarding that Pistons team composed of Chauncey, Rip, Tayshaun and the Wallace's. That is a super team. It is just that they focused on the defense.
Problem with super fans is they are looking at the points of a player to see how great he is.

This Piston team dont need that.
Whenever a game score is below 100 then Piston is the sure winner. That is how hard their defense is.

East will be the best to watch actually. There are no underdogs and shinnanigans. Young players with the will to get the crown.

While on the West, you will just wait for Houston, GSW and maybe Lakers to see a good fight.

Lakers:
1. Shaq
2. Kobe
3. Malone
4. Payton

That's 3 HOF (Malone, Payton and Shaq) and 1 possible (Kobe).

Against Detroit who is lead by Billups, Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince. But the Pistons upset the Lakers under Phil Jackson that year and that is a super team, they played superb defense against Lakers offensive power. So don't totally write off the East team right now, because its possible that they can bring something in the table as well.

That's not an upset. Detroit Pistons is really one of the best dominant team that season and finished with a good record. I also don't considered Los Angeles Lakers as super team back that season. Malone and Payton was already on the verge of retirement that days. It was just that Pistons called underdog because Lakers just came from 3rd consecutive finals appearance.

I do agree. They will just have to play harder though.
I just dont like the way NBA is now. Garbage time. That should be taken off. There is no such thing as that. This is some kind of thing to protect the players. (star players) How come they are protecting those who are paid too much. They are paid more for them to play hard and not to sit just because they are behind 20 point in 4 minutes.
I dont see much of a full court press now. They began to act like lazy bastards who will just walk with the pointguard making the play and not really defend.

That respect mode during garbage time. I do not agree with the way they are fighting just because the player of the other team dunked the ball during garbage time. DO DEFENSE!!! so that they cannot dunk the ball.

Again that fight happened just because of a garbage time which is not in the dictionary of basketball. There is no such thing.

If you are behind then go make STOPS. Try to steal the ball. Make them do freethrows to stop the time and do a great play in a little amount of time. Do it over and over again until you are close to the lead.

The NBA is really starting to suffer from lack of competition. The Warriors are coasting every year to the Finals and this isn't going to change for the next few years. At least the Eastern conference doesn't havfe Lebron anymore so we won't be seeing the same team from the East.

The 60's were a completely different era because there were only 8 NBA teams. Your right though, the NBA has always been dominated by dynasties. The Chicago Bulls could of won 8 straight NBA titles in the 90's if Michael Jordan didn't retire.
