After the  NBA finals. There were a lot of rumors that lebron james will be moving to other team. If this really happens what are your predictions? Where so you think lebron will transfer and can it be the key for his success on the next season?

For me i would love if he is going to lakers for a different taste
He cannot win in Lakers, he will be star like in the cavaliers but he'll never win a championship.
What he need is a teammates that can be trusted in scoring, and I think it's better for him to joined a better time like the Spurs because they have good defense and offense.
Just me thinking about it makes me cringe on the possibility of further improving the spurs, especially their capability to score in the offense and make tough shots with the defense are at a high level. Making plays there for Lebron would be an impact. Anywhere that LeBron will transfer to has the possibility to win the playoffs.

Well a chance to play for pop is a good pull for bron though I doubt he'd go to san antonio. If the guy's not going to the rockets, I don't think he'll leave the east. And with the talent that the free agent market has, it's even possible that he'll stay in cleveland and just form another super team with especially with cp3 and pg13 available. And he's hinted as well that he's considering his family this time, which is based in ohio

Player Option
A player option grants the player the power to decide whether to stay for another year or become a completely unrestricted free agent. In either case (team option or player option) if the option is refused, the player is completely unrestricted and free to sign with any team.
I see thanks for the link, this is very informative. I see that most of the superstars are on PO which allows them to choose to stay or go from their current teams.

Oh, Carmelo Anthony is in ETO (Early termination option).

Mostly superstars are given with that playet option. It like their incentive for being a good player.
But there are management that wont let go.
If ever the other team management offers a better price then they could go way higher just to bring back a star back.
We should remember, management have different goals than players and coach.
It is the fans who will pay tickets which needs to be pulled.

I agree, the management will do their best to make sure that the player/s that fans loves will be in their bench no matter what will happen, is no longer a pride that matters, NBA became an entertainment so it's  all about business and how well the management will play in order to generate profits.

Back With Melo, I agree that being a third options needs to be adopted and learned alongside with his co-superstars, as we knew that from the start of his carreer with Denver he was then the number one options and a leading scorer, same deal when he was traded to New York, aside from that he's not getting any younger with Injuries back then we can't expect anything more than what he can deliver.

Lol at Carmelo Anthony, he is just lucky that OKC did pick him up but we all know that he is no longer the scorer (he is more of a isolation player). And he didn't contribute to the cause of OKC so at least have a good showing in the West.

As for Golden State players who are in that list, I'm sure that they are willing to get a pay cut just to stay with the team and make another championship run like KD and Thompson and Green.
He may look like that he didn't contribute much but how can you say that he didn't did his best? He was actually the 3rd option in the team as right after Russell Westbrook and Paul George so I can say that what he did is enough for the team. And he maybe is not yet comfortable with his role being the 3rd option as he was actually the main scorer for New York for a long time amd moving from first to third is a pretty big leap.

I agree with you. They have good centers already and if we see the performances of Looney and McGee this year's playoffs, they have stepped up and they contributed much in their team.

I hope they will not trade their all star caliber players for other players because they are a solid team already. Maybe they can trade some of their bench player but not the starters.

Honestly these days, teams are not relying anymore to Center position as there are players who can adopt multiple roles. Best examples are Draymond Green of Golden State Warriors. He is literally a power forward but acting as Center. Kevin Durant, for obvious role. LeBron James of Cavaliers, literally can play all roles. Kevin Love of Cavaliers too, acting as a center. Boston Celtics' Al Horford and as you see Celtics are playing without a center sometimes but still deadly on court. Other teams as well even the average ones.

Ok turning back to GSW, don't worry their starters are commited to the team for at least I think 3 to 4 seasons because other started just opened up another eligibility in their contract meaning their salary will not be their usual salary because they unlock some of the requirements. They can offer for that "if necessary". Why "if necessary", well kind long statement again so I will just end up here.

Correct, this era is no longer a Center dominant position. That's why Dwight Howard career suddenly went down to pipe and other centers also struggling. Unlike before when Shaq was really dominant, now we have guards like Curry and Irving manning the show for the team. It doesn't mean that teams doesn't need a Center, must teams are no longer relying on team. The game has also evolved with power forwards who can be a 'Center' but as the same time can dribble the ball and be a guard and distribute the ball.

A little help for those who wants to see the free agents of 2018.
I just fixed it to see clearly instead of going in and out at ESPN website.
Here is the link though to see the 2018-2019 free agency.

Here we go. Enjoy guys.

Code:
NBA Free Agency 2018

Key: UFA = Unrestricted free agent; RFA = Restricted free agent; PO = Player option; TO = Team option; ETO = Early termination option

Free Agency Terminology
Unrestricted free agent
An unrestricted free agent (UFA) is free to sign with any team, though some unrestricted free agents have options on their existing contracts that, if exercised, may impact their choices.

Restricted free agent
A restricted free agent (RFA) can sign an offer sheet with any team, but the player's original team can retain him by matching the terms of that offer. The original team is said to have the "right of first refusal."

Team Option
A team option grants the original team the right to keep a player for another year.

Player Option
A player option grants the player the power to decide whether to stay for another year or become a completely unrestricted free agent. In either case (team option or player option) if the option is refused, the player is completely unrestricted and free to sign with any team.

Early Termination Option
An early termination option gives the player the right to end a signed contract. The option cannot be exercised before the end of the fourth year of an existing contract. If the player declines to exercise the option, he remains with the original team. If the option is exercised, he is free to sign with any team.

Two-way Free Agent
A Two-Way player (other than a first round draft pick whose third or fourth year option was not exercised) will be a Restricted Free Agent at the conclusion of a Two-Way Contract if he was on the NBA team’s active or inactive list for 15 or more days of the NBA regular season in the last season of such contract and provided that the team makes a Qualifying Offer to the player.

Guys I've got a new interesting news that I've read on social media. What do you think if Anthony Davis will go to Golden State Warriors? they really do like to have a powerhouse, don't they?
Source: Anthony Davis Rumors: Warriors' Interest in Pelicans Star Remains After Ring
I have seen this rumors on social media already. I think if they can get Davis then its good for them however, they are saying that they will trade either Thompson, Green or other all star caliber players. I think its better if they will not trade them or rather not get Davis. They can make their centers improve.

P.S. I just read the article and saw that Thompson and Green will extend their contract. If they will get Davis, which of the Warriors roster will be traded?

They don't need a solid center because JaVale is doing it perfectly, besides they have a solid center before at Bogut but choses to trade him. Green can man the paint and he did it beautifully in the playoffs blocking shots, so as others have said, the team is still solid and no need to change the winning combination.

I have came across that article also and i doubt that it would be realized. IMO if Golden State warriors will add Anthony Davis to their line-up, then the career of AD will be ruin. He will be reduced to a role player rather than a star player. They system of play that the Warriors had does not suit the style of play of AD. Run and gun, the Warriors could go small if they want as they are very successful in it. If i were AD i would team up with Lebron James.
I don't know who to believe and there are facebook pages that are posting some tweets about Anthony Davis of rejecting the call. But those posts are obvious edited ones, it says that he don't want to get his championship ring bought by joining Golden State Warriors just like what Kevin Durant did. He wanted to have it the way he's working on it. Well as I've said there's no official statement from Davis and this is like a drama series and we're all waiting for his reply.
You know social media either informations roaming around either truth or totally a lie. We wont able to conclude as long Davis wont really make any clarification with it. IMO i would rather go on the side on which he wont join up Warriors just to get championship this would be a matter of pride between each star player. They do know their capability and they can able to carry his team without much being depending or being scared out or being offered by teams.

The question is where is Lebron James heading? Teaming up with Anthony Davis is not a bad idea but actually their tandem with 3 good players maybe enough to compete with the current players of Golden State Warriors but, both must adjust to each other and work as a team, team with 5 players not only 2 or 1. This is one reason why Golden State Warriors is successful recently, everyone in the team plays a role, no one will out shine another player.

True, the warriors does not need to improve because they are already a very good team.
They should give chance for the other team to grow because wining easily does not give satisfaction even if you are a champion.
