I have no idea that Kendrick Perkins is now on Cleveland Cavaliers. A good choice since no doubt that somehow Perkins can be a good asset at inside stuffs. He is known for having a stronghold position at the paint whenever on offense and defense. And we have seen that during his Boston Celtics (on which he won a championship) and Oklahoma City Thunder (reached Finals) days.

Also Cavaliers really needs people at that position so it's a good choice.

There's now a slight clear path on where Carmelo Anthony will landed.

As expected and as far as all rumors is pointing out, Houston Rockets is the closest team that maybe he will landed. If that will happen, I don't know who's Rockets player will be put on trades. No doubt, even their caliber players that help Rockets reached their strongpoint at recent playoffs will be placed on trades. Another good lineup will be wrecked because of the incoming superstar. Hope that it will be a nice move for the Rockets.

Clear path? Carmelo Anthony on Houston Rockets? Hmm why they do they have to do this trade just for him. Yes they've got a good line up and someone will just wrecked their game play. Why there's a push for Melo but well the management is the one to decide for their own team. Also it can maybe a part of their marketing for their franchise, I'm not judging their move but let's see.

Not a 100% clear but slight of it.

This coming Monday is the expected date of Carmelo Anthony's trade and like I said, only Houston Rockets is the team that mostly out on the rumors. Let's wait next week for an update. Hope that no delay will happened.

IMO, it's not much of an upgrade. It's the same as what happened with Wade going to Chicago. Heck Wade is a lot better than Melo. The names just generates a lot of buzz.

I agree. It may be a bright prospect on paper but it's probably not going to be much of a difference when the season starts. I think it would just be the same as other superstar trades that ended up way bow expectations.

Alright, will wait on this news and much better if you can post it here immediately as I'm watching this thread for different news about change of roster and updates for this season. Seems this thread is inactive for this day can't wait for the start of the league on October first it will be Golden State Warriors vs. Nuggets. This is an appetizing game for GSW, one of the crowd favorite for the past years.

Yeah, the waiting will be over on Monday. I also agree that Melo will likely go to Houston. The thing is that New York is under new management (new team president  Steve Mills and new general manager Scott Perry) are just waiting for the perfect package before letting go of Melo. Although he is in a declined, I love to see him play along side Chris Paul and James Harden. And I'm sure he can still score maybe around 15-20 ppg average, which will be a huge contribution to Houston. But make no mistake about it, its Harden's team so basically he is the first option and not Melo.

That's not good for the Rockets, they are slowly achieving to a bigger success and suddenly there is this guy who still thinks he is the superstar, melo is old already and he is proven not a good leader. I hope everything will work fine, honestly, I was rooting for Rockets this season to at make it in the west Finals again, but it seems like this news will ruin everything. Despite of that, I'll still bet on Rockets to win NBA finals, I just can't resist the odds, I'll put a small amount though.

No doubt that the current lineup of Houston Rockets last season is all blended with good ingredients. And because of the rumor that Melo will landed here, it's really possible that those good ingredients will be seperated because of another special (as they say) condiments.

If that is the case then no way it can be stopped. No way New York Knicks will not get anything in return so this package will be a blockbuster trade.

Melo is old already and he is proven not a good leader.

Hmm quiet not old I think. He is just 1 year older to Lebron James. Smiley But as a leader, well I miss his Denver Nuggets day. That's the only time I have seen him as a good playmaker and leader.

I think the 2018 NBA champions will be GSW. Although Cavs will still be a threat as well as the Spurs. But GSW have already built a dynasty on the league.

Again? I don't want to see them play in the finals, they keep on repeating it again. I don't hate them and I know they are strong and has a power house. But I want to see another team playing with other rivals for the championships.

But their only rival I think is the CAVS being they have faced 3 years in a row. I am just saying that GSW is a team that is really a powerhouse and I am not saying that just because I am a fan.

I do have a feeling that this year we will have a different game for the chamionship. Spurs were beating the Warriors at Oracle, after Kawhi got hurt then they started to have problems. Also, the Rockets and the Thunder will be a problem for Curry and company.
In the East I think we will see the same final, Cavs vs Celtics.

Maybe if one of their stars will be injured we might not see them in the finals, for now it seems they are still the best team
in the NBA and they can beat any team in a high scoring game. They are full of offense and they have been very successful with the their strategy.

To the point that someone needs to injure any of their players? I don't wish one of their stars to be at that situation. But they can't avoid that situation, remember on what happened to Spurs when their star Kawhi Leonard was injured it was a big loss for the team instead of they can play very well with him but it looks like the team depends only with him.

Dynasty as a basis?  Huh There are lots of team who already built a big dynasty on the league and even dominate many seasons.

What's much better to say is Golden State Warriors still have big chance to grab the NBA Champion but let's exclude dynasty here as a reason. It's not making sense honestly. And besides we can predict what will happen accurately. As NBA, "where amazing happens".

Anyways really a lol moment for Kevin Durant's epic fail recently. If you are really pissed off you can't noticed that you are dealing with the wrong account lol. Smiley

They are doing their best and they deserve to be in the finals and it's the problem of the other team if they'll see the same faces and team in the semi's up to the finals.

And if this is still their moment, they'll make it to be this season's champion. I want to see another good contender team to face them.

Cavs is a good team too but I want other teams also.

If they are already good in the last season for sure they have mastered their chemistry in the upcoming season, they are the most dangerous team as they trust each other and they share the ball well. Those starting five of the warriors are a threat as most of them can shoot from the outside which love to run the floor.
That's there advantage all of them really trust each others back they rotate the ball according and they can really create space to score and like what you have said if they already build its chemistry last season this season we will see more out from this super team,.
