If the cavs on game 3 will play defense like what they did on their first 2 games maybe they can't win. You can't win games by just scoring you need to deny the ball from GSW. Another thing is there is no help from the other guys on the cavs. It's always the big 3 who is doing the work. On the GSW side, If durant is playing like that in the entire series their chances of winning the FInals is high but let's not forget how curry play in the first 2 games. The GSW play a team basketball and for me it's fun to watch a team who plays like that.

Nice point. Defense really wins game. However, how can you defend the likes of Durant, Curry? Will James guard against Durant again one on one or the Cavs will double team him. Its really hard to defend this two. Who will be the priority of Cavs to stop? if you stop one of them, how can you stop the other one? So its really hard battle for the Cavs to get a win against the offensive onslaught of Durant, Curry plus Thompson.
It's starting to look obvious that the Cavs are simply outmatched in this series. Even before the arrival of Kevin Durant, they were already having nightmares, and barely won last year's Finals via that massive comeback. Things are a lot different now and the Warriors are bound to be good for the foreseeable future. It might only be a matter of time before this series is over, with 6 games being the most on my bet.
I agree with you.
As a guy who saw the first game, we could see the level difference between both teams.
Seems like Golden State are much stronger.
It's not like golden state just won cavs, they won them while dominating the game leaving no chances to cavs to return.
I can predict 3-0 to GS.

GSW is the strongest team in the NBA right now and we can't deny it because you can see how the players of the GSW play. The only way that cavs will win the series if all of them will contribute in the game. They just need to play defense on the GSW. If GSW win tomorrow the chance of sweeping the cavs is high or if the GSW manage to snatch a 1 game on the road we will going to see a 4-1 series.

Mark Cuban (if you didn't know him, he's the most popular team owner in the NBA specifically the Dallas Mavericks) tweets about bitcoin. Odds to see NBA personalities saying something about cryptocurrency. Smiley

Mark Cuban tweets, and bitcoin drops  Cool
I know this guy, he is popular as NBA personality because he is not just a very rich person but he is very vocal, if I remember it right he was once made an accusation that NBA is rig and he was penalized for that action. I don't know how much his exposure in crypto but I think his words should not be taken seriously, he might just making a FUD to buy cheap bitcoins and ride on the pump. Grin

Players from the past also saying GSW offense is one the best offense in NBA history.

What I hate about this is that after this, the trend of superstars teaming up under 1 franchise to form super teams would prevail. We want good competition in the league, as much as possible.

Don't forget Cavs were losing the series 0-3 before they made their comeback and won the series last year.

The warriors often slow down and begin to lose their mental composure around games 3 or 4.

History could repeat itself.

Although Durant never seems to lose his mental composure. That's one of the big things the warriors have going for them this time around.

As a Cavs fan I must say I'm not very dissapointed with the effort so far but more surprised, I know the Warriors would be very hard to beat at home but there's a feel of invincibility in the air right now. If Durant plays like this no team would ever stop them really in the upcoming years and the NBA is gonna lose a lot of fans, just take a look at what these playoffs, completely pointless, all sweeps and no competition whatsoever. And we may even get that in the finals.

I still feel the Cavs can tie the series at home, but this will be a much harder effort than last year's. If they manage to do that, well I know the Warriors are a different team playing under pressure and the Cavs could have an edge there. Irving and JR will have to step up big time along with the some players in the bench (Korver and Williams). They have been atrocious so far.

I  totally agree with you. The supporting cast of Lebron should now step up otherwise GSW will take the trophy from them. Irving and JR Smith should spark the team and help Lebron James. This is a 5 man team and they should put all efforts to at least offset GSW offense and win Game 3 and stop the break on GSW.

Yes Lebron can only do so much, he's been great all around but he can't take on Green, Curry, Durant, KT and Iguodala alone! Kevin Love has been playing very good, solid, Thompson had an ugly first game but rebounded in the second one. But the rest, especially Irving, JR, Korver and D-Williams were non-existent to the point that they were even harmful. The Cavs were in the game in the 3rd quarter, only 1 point behind when JR commited to back-to-back fouls that were infuriating to see, it killed all momentum there and the Warriors started their final run.

Yes. There should be team effort. I also see K Love doing his thing. Fighting for rebounds, loose ball but he's having a hard time with Green, AI and even Kevin Durant going for the rebound. Irving and Smith are still non-factor so far, but I'm sure that they will try to redeem themselves in the next game. D William, I think he can't regain his old self. But at least contribute to the offense. I'm seeing him doing his trade mark cross over, but the shooting is horrible.

Have faith on cavs. They can won a match on GSW, this is same scenario on last year. They are almost 3-1 then bounce back to win the championship. I agree with you that KD plays a big role now on GSW. He is the one who match up on scoring to LBJ, GSW will be having a hard time if they don't have KD. KD is closed to wear his first ring.  Grin

P.S.
-GSW can't sweep spurs if kawhi and parker is not injured.

in the second game Cleveland will try to play better than the first game and forget about it . it's true that the Golden State Warriors are strong in their home but if Irving and James do their best they can win this game . it's really hard to bet for who will be the winner ! i'm waiting for this game .

Both teams are strong and they will always play the best that they can and with this finals, the reputation, money, award and recognition is at hand. Looks like everyone seems to be talking about the home court advantage that each team is enjoying. Well the game is on for later, few more hours left, I will watch it while I'm on duty later.  Cheesy
This game will determine if the cavaliers can stay in this series, they have been dominated in game 1 and I think they are cooking up with a good plan to at least limit the warriors, Durant was hot in game 1 so I don't expect he will be in game 2. Lebron James has bigger stake in this NBA Finals, he was a great player and he needs to live up with his reputation, what would the industry say if they will be hammered again.

After game 2, many are now thinking that it will be a sweep and this will be one of the most disgusting series of Cavs. But it is only for those people that make themselves as "sports analysts" just because they have watched the finals. But well Lebron is a good player and I'm not his fan but I know he will make this series into tie.
Yeah Lebron is a good player and Game 2 was the best finals of Lebron and K.Love as well. But it's not enough to beat the offense of GSW. Others are struggling including Irving while their opponents all was contributing even the bench. It will be a sweep if they can't stop the offense of GSW.

Players from the past also saying GSW offense is one the best offense in NBA history.

Golden State Warrior is well known for their offensive plays and the Cav's did played well and yes, it is not enough for them to do so. Many factors affected the game for the Cavaliers but I know they will answer those 2 games with 2 another games at their home court advantage. Exciting for the game 3 if this game Cav's still lose, I lose my hope for them.

Finally, around 14 hours remaining for the most waited BB game of the year, and maybe the best fit teams together. I guess there are no surprises for the teams playing together.
Anyway game 1 should pretty much decide the whole series direction IMO, whether GSW will rollover Cavs or vice-versa.

No.. There will be more surprises to come within this match up. Both teams are eager to get the title for this year and who knows, miracles can happen anytime. Both roster of each teams are competent and there's no doubt that they can be champions for this year's season. No regret, any of them is worthy to be the champ.

yeah it seems forever to wait for the finals to start and a lot are eager to watch game 1. I think there won't be any blowout tis game 1 and possibly we're going to go down the wire most of the series as bith teams are evenly matched. looking good on paper and hopefully it ends up to be classic like last year

Well the first game of this finals ended up too bad for Cavs. And congratulations to the whole Dub nation for winning this first game but still it is not the end of this series, this is just a state and for sure there will be some gut feeling about Cavs that they will do some strategies for the next game. It's always been exciting.

As i a cavs fan, Lebron has his performance downgraded when  he was tripped trying to guard kd. I've got no excuse why they lost but that Lebron was dumbfounded. And i doubt there can be any 1-3 comeback these time. Because if they would lose in game 2?. Homecourt aint gonna save them. So i hope they can at least find there pace in game 2 so that they can really defeat the warriors and preventing KD and the warriors an era of a super team.
I'm not a Cavs fan nor a GSW fan boy. But I can say that they have their times of having good performance and bad. In the case of GSW, they are playing as a team and people are seeing it. With Cavs, the same thing we do only have our own preference for the best players which give us our own favoritism.

It's very clear how the warriors dominated the cleveland cavaliers in game 2, if irving will still not perform well in game 3 I think we need the help of the refs to win at least one game, the organization will not allow any sweep for this series because no excitement at all and no more money will come it. I am betting on game 3 just hoping there is a rig that is going to happen, check out the calls if the warriors are not getting the favor, this should be for the cavaliers.

I agree with you on that I'm also expecting a Cavs win in game 3 because sports are now all about the money and ratings and like you said they wouldn't want a clean sweep in an NBA Finals between the 2 best teams in the past 4 years. This series is very similar to last years NBA finals so it will be interesting to see if there will be a game 7 which I am expecting.

That was a result that was expected but everyone thought lebron would of done alot better.
I sure hope he wakes up and does more to get his team back in this series and score atleast 40 points for his team.
Getting beaten by nearly 20 pts in a playoff games twice in a row is just a joke.
If it wasn't for that feeble last 3 pointer it would of been much worst.

Lebron and the Cavs better shape up or they will be laughed off the court at home.
