Maybe because people are tired to see another MVP award to Westbrook, with this line up, he will be limited with minutes and I don't think he can do what he did in the past all star. Maybe this time, if the East will win, we will see James Harden as MVP. I'm sure this guy is hungry for that award and will do his best to get it and win the team.

I have a trivia for you:

Didn't you know that Russel Westbrook is the All-Star MVP during 2015 NBA All-Star game. He is not part of the starter lineup back then.

See? Even with limited minuted he grab the MVP title. That is really depend on a player if he will play aggressiveness and forget about entertainment purposes. Well All-Star MVP title is a good achievement too while you are having Season MVP and Finals MVP title too but unfortunately for Westbrook, still a long way to reached that status. Smiley

Of course not. Even Westbrook is not part of the starters, he have the chance to grab the MVP by taking advantage of his limited playing time, well just required a hard work indeed.

And just want to correct you that Houston Rockets is on the West so if East will win, James Harden will not be the MVP by any chances. But Im agree for those West starters, only Harden I can see will has high chance to grab the All-Star MVP title.
Well theres a lots of considerations curry and durant together with lennard its really hard for harden to achieved the mvp awards with those players who will play with him i guess its needed for him to really show big numbers and good performance and like what you have said its also needed for them to win first before gaining the award.

No it's not that hard for Harden. Why? Curry, Durant alongside Leonard are not that typical All-Star MVP grabber based on their All-Star appearance (except when KD takes the title) since then. James Harden, if ever he will be pursue the title then that is possible. Look at Westbrook last couple of years and you will see what I mean.

Even as a Rockets fan, James can be inconsistent at times, but it doesn't matter. The All-Star MVP is not as important as the other 2 MVP awards.

You nailed it. Agree indeed.

Looks like the Warriors are making their revenge now, in the 4th quarter already and the lead is still 20 points, rockets are dead already, they will not gonna make a good rally in this one. The line is very easy for the warriors backers, let's get this win tonight warriors fans.

The Golden state warriors won this game the game ended 125 points with good team play with Warriors players. However, Rockets also did a great job but it is not enough to get this match but Warriors are really into the feeling and has the spirit of getting this game. And their next game with Orlando is going to be another win for them.
Golden state warriors owned the rockets, they will continue to embarrass them in front of the home crowd. That is a big statement coming from the Warriors and a payback of embarrassing them at home way back. I guess the trend will continue, we will be seeing more and more routed opponents by the warriors. Just won a bit on this game, good day. Grin

What are you talking about? Harden is not in the East. you can't see a player getting MVP award without winning the match. People are dumb enough to put Curry over Westbrook and Harden. Curry should be dropped out of starting five, but it's a popularity contest and Warriors bandwagons are raised in last 2 years. Anyway, Westbrook will show his anger, passion and ambition in the game.

Ever since Durant came to GSW he overtook the lead role and Curry became more of a support cast, but he's still superstar material anyway.

I wonder if he'll shine in the playoffs still.

Honestly he basically gave Warriors key to Durant, both lost a lot of respect for many fans and players around the league in my opinion. I don't see Curry taking over in the playoffs because he never did, not even when they won the championship against a decimated Cavs team. That time it was Iguodala who stepped up.

I honestly doubt the Warriors reach the Finals this year, I think San Antonio, LA Clippers, Memphis and Houston could beat them in a 7 game series, surpassing what OKC almost did last year.
That's easy to say mate, you can see how they dismantled the Rockets now and the Cavaliers in the past game. Only Memphis has beat them twice in this season but they will adjust, the last game against Memphis was a miracle comeback from the road team. I know it's a different ball game once it reach in the playoffs, but you cannot underestimate what the warriors have done lately.

Philadelphia is much better quality than last year, but it will continue to play next year, but if Portland does not need to win this game, it will be a long time to escape the first 8 opportunities, but the hosts 4 and 5 are also very effective.
Portland needs a win but they slip this game away, it has Lillard who was not able to shoot 1 of the 2 FT, it could have went to OT if he shoot it because Robert Covington made a 3 points. Now, this team is getting hotter, actually I lose my bet in this game with Portland -2.5 but that's fine, I'll got with the Portland in the next game.

Lessons learned, don't bet against the hottest team in the NBA now. Grin

This is what I heard the announcer saying last night when I was watching the Timberwolves game. I think when they were interviewing Kevin Garnett and he mentioned that Durant's play was outshining Curry's performance lately.
If this is true then expect more points to come in their games when he hits the glass.

NBA All-Star starting fives announced and luckily we don't see Zaza Pachulia etc. low profile players there. It's also a scandal Westbrook not to start the game with triple-double average and 21 triple-double in first half of the league. He should've start with Harden instead of Curry.

East Guards
Kyrie Irving
DeMar DeRozan

East Frontcourt
LeBron James
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Jimmy Butler

West Guards
Stephen Curry
James Harden

West Frontcourt
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Anthony Davis

The people voted for Zaza Pachulia, but this year was worth the vote of journalists and players and therefore he will not be among the owners.
It is scandalous that Westbrook is not the first team after these first 44 games by triple-double record.
In his role he was preferred slightly Harden.

Well i've rrad an article that steph russ and harden almist got the same percemtages when it comrs to the coaches and journalists votes and it went down to the fans votes to determine which would start. We can't really deny the fact that russ is playing by far as the vest plater in the league right now but it's not all about that in the all star as they also consider who the fans want to see more. Though ffor me, would still have russ there and harden instead of steph for the starting guards

Clippers won the first half by 7 points, public might lose on this one, thinking that Clippers would not play well without their stars is s a little disrespect to a team. They are doing great this game actually, and I am seeing them winning this game.

Unfortunately Clippers lost the game but it was a great game eventhough they are lacking of key players. A lucky shot indeed is needed in the last minute of the game as it was intense.

Congratulations to those gambler who bet for Minnesota moneyline. Want to say that Timberwolves is one of the team that can take a risk when given decent odds in moneyline option.
Yes mate its almost a win for clippers even losing their key players glad betting parlay for cavs and timberwolves atleast they didnt messed up and really give me an acceptable earnings, will review next game and see if which teams have some good advantage for playing parlay again.
Yeah. Cavs were good to bet on because King James had a good game and did not cry about those stupid calls against him last night like he usually does when things are not going his way. You know why? Cause he knew this game was theirs to own being at home in front of their fans.
Picking the Wolves was a must against a weakened team like the clippers without their stars in the lineup and with 7 wins in a row it was their time to lose and with those odds of being away you just couldn't say no. Too bad I picked them to win and being over on points. Just 6 points shy of a win but the wagered amount was nothing around 2 mbtc so no big loss. My other games won on that bet just this one.
If I just bet ML on Cavs and Wolves and one Australian Open winner last night I would be over then moon with odds of over 2.22+1.82+1.14=5.18 odds and put all my 70mbtc. That would of been a blessing in disguise to end a month of big losses for me.
