If you check bench scoring you'll see the difference. Golden State bench made 40+ points but Cavs bench made less than 15. You can't compete them, if your rotation is small you must put in more work to outscore your opponent.

Or it could be that they're defended well that's why they look 'off'. When the Cavs opened up their defense late in the 4th wth Curry and Thompson left open on 2 occasions, both hit their 3.
