The rumors are out and about regarding the Wiggins situation. I hate to be the one to spill it here, but it is rumored that the personal issues Wiggins is going through stem from his wife cheating on him with his best friend over a long period of time and his best friend being the true father of their children. No idea if it is true, but that is what everyone is saying on social media.
Well, a rumor will still be a rumor until there's no official announcement, but if this is the truth then... Man that hurts... a lot for sure.
I mean cheating alone while being married is already heart-breaking, but to cheat with your bestfriend? If that's the case then I guess it's better for Wiggins not to play in the NBA at least for now because he will just be distracted by this "rumor", and that might affect the whole team.

At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs.   Smiley
It's the first time that the Kings got a winning season since 2005-2006. That's a good achievement for the team already.
As for winning the West, I don't think so. Yes they have a very good coach in Mike Brown whose been an assistant coach for the Warriors when they won a title, but we know how experience matters especially in the playoffs. Congratulations to the Kings on clinching the playoffs (for sure they will), but most teams want to face them in the first round because they're inexperienced.

And if we talk about the MVP race, Kia MVP Ladder: Joel Embiid overtakes Nikola Jokic for No. 1 spot.

1. Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
2. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets
Well, that 4 game losing streak by the Nuggets really affected Jokic's MVP race.
On the other hand, Embiid deserves it as well as he is performing very well in their last games. It will be a close duel between these 2 Centers on who will be the MVP now that we only have few games left on the regular season. I'd want to see Jokic making history though as the 4th NBA player in history to have 3 consecutive MVP titles. Smiley

However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final.

Absolutely the best season they have from the last 17 years I say, as the Sacramento Kings last playoffs appearance was in 2006 led by Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin. The 2023 Kings will most probably going to finish with the best record than the 2006. However, there is a huge difference in a regular season and a playoff game. Most inexperienced team that gets to the playoffs are most likely not going to go to the finals. The Sacramento Kings might be one of them, but this is definitely going to be the start of their long journey to get a ring, as long as they will take care of their stars and young talents.

And that might be the thing that's going to hold against them, they don't have the experience in the playoff. So we will see which team they are going to face in the first round. It's going to be a a series obviously, so it's very different from regular games. And we also seen multiple upsets in playoffs. We don't want them to be the new Utah Jazz, very good at regular season and then because of their lack of experienced, they easily lost in a playoff series.

And if we talk about the MVP race, Kia MVP Ladder: Joel Embiid overtakes Nikola Jokic for No. 1 spot.

3. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
4. Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics
5. Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

So it seems like NBA legend Michael Jordan is finally willing to give up his majority ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. Serious talks are ongoing and I would like to see Jordan let go as the majority owner. The team has been failing to perform and is one of the weakest teams in the NBA for over a decade. Maybe the new majority owner can guide the team to success. Now that most NBA teams are capable of competing in the playoffs, the possible new majority owner should be willing to spend more especially since the team now has potential when healthy.

I've seen that news and the value of the Charlotte Hornets are quite high already. But I am sure that there will be wealthy people that are truly interested in taking major ownership of any of the NBA teams. From what I've heard, there's the Saudi prince who wants to acquire an NBA team before but didn't happen. Maybe he's one of the best prospects of taking the leadership of this team and becoming the new majority owner. After this sale, MJ will still be part of the minority for the ownership of this team so, it's just a wise move for him to do it and take profits out of his investment since 2010.

His selling is going to be the best decision right now. Because the team has not been having good performances for a long time. I actually believe if he waits for a long period of time, the performance is not going to be better, actually, the performance is going to get worse over time. So the decision of selling ownership right now is actually good. Just get as much money as you can before the team is worth nothing.

A wise decision indeed, with the current status of the team and the amount of potential value if you'll going to weight it up possible
that you will go to the same direction as what MJ will project it by now.

Selling the majority shares and remain to have a decent amount of investment around the organization will give him huge amount
of money.

A good investment to release out after more than 10 years, a projected more than a billion of dollar that MJ will earn here.

In fairness though, I'm also impressed with how the Sacramento Kings performed this season, and as I mentioned too way back a few weeks here, almost a sure shot now at this year's playoffs. Their last playoff appearance was way back in the 05-06 season and for sure their home crowd is now excited again to see their home court in the playoffs environment.

However, let's be real here. Season games might be a good reference to somehow analyze what team might have the best shot at the Larry O'Brien trophy but remember that season records are nothing once playoffs commence and every team will start at 0-0.

Referring to the Kings, let's see if they will able to clinch the top spots, and keep that consistency until the end of the season. Let's also see, if the Kings will have the same level of performance once playoffs come, the same way they did during season games.

It will remain a dream unless they're closer on that goal or got the ring they wanted. Stats says higher seed teams are likely has the high chance of succeeding into a championship and I think Kings casn still live up to the expectations.

I think these two team will go head to head again in the ECF this season but my guts tells me that Celtics can beat the Bucks.

That's just one game, dude, where he really scored a lot, but you know it's always Curry who is the leader of this team. I wouldn't focus too much on the regular season because the Warriors are going to be a different team in the playoffs. Remember, they are missing their second-best player, which is Wiggins. He can play great defense that will make this team better defensively, so once he comes back, for sure before the playoffs or play-in, they'll be 100% ready.

I hope Wiggins returns soon, we don't know what his condition is at the moment. We heard that he has family and important matters, of course nothing is more important than family. But it's not nice to think that you are in such a bad situation that you can't even post anything.
If he doesn't return until the playoffs start, it will be a tough end of the year for the Golden State Warriors

Ouch, probably this is worst than Tony Parker cheating on Eva Longoria a Hollywood actress, with Erin Barry, wife of also NBA star Brent Barry. And probably that's why the Warriors try to keep this news at bay and doesn't want to divulge it.

Nuggets breaking their losing skid is a good sign for the team and most likely remain as the number 1 seed in the West.

Lakers vs Mavs later, it will be interesting as both are jousting for position.

wow, I didn't knowthat problem was so relevant...
I would imagine that it wasn't such a worrying thing and that it could affect Wiggins in that way, I hope he gets better soon, I have no doubt that it could really affect him, causing some depression or something similar like that.

It's been so long since the Kings were in the playoffs that even it's unusual to see them at the top of the Western Conference standings now. By the way, if the Kings finish the regular season in 2nd place, there is a chance that the Wolves or Mavs could be their opponents in the first round of the playoffs, and the Grizzlies or Warriors could be potential opponents in the second round. My point is that the Kings potentially have a good chance to get to the Conference Finals because they are capable of beating all of those teams.
I confess that this will be the first time in my life that I will see the Kings participating in the playoffs lol
Just kidding... but I'm happy and at the same time surprised with thisrelevant performance that the Kings are having in this NBA season.
Let's see if they can reach at least the conference finals or even the 22/23 season finals  Smiley

I didn't expected Denver to be this dominant and win by 19 points neither, but to be fair they were this good normally, it was a weird thing for them to not have this win earlier. In the end they are at the top, and what they say about Jokic is true, he is the real MVP of this league right now.

Because aside from him and Giannis, everyone else gets together to win a title, Durant got together with Booker (and irving before and Curry before that) or Lebron with AD or Doncic with Irving, basically everyone gets together, whereas Jokic is the sole superstar of his own team, sure he has good teammates but none of them are superstar level like him, dude is a beast.

Whose betting on Lakers vs Mavs match tomorrow. The odds for Mavs is high since there star players along with some starter 5 will not gonna play but this is same scenario with lakers with Lebron and possibly Davis will gonna be out due to their i jury. This match will sure ply the battle of the bench which I consider a nearly even match because both teams are playing in uncomfortable line-up. Currently mavs has a high odds but I will try my luck on this match and bet with +10.5 points on Mavs during live game.

Yep, just one game for the Warriors, and as we can see in their lineup, no Wiggins still, so they continue to struggle unlike during their championship run last year there are a lot of good supporting players who fulfill their role, but not this year. So Curry need to step up, scores 50 and yet it's not enough.

They are in the playoffs, just have to see where they are going to land and which opponents they are going to face.

But you can't really take them off in the equation as they are the defending champions and they have been in this situation many times.
With regards to Wiggins, I saw a Facebook post on Bleacher report saying that Wiggins "LIKELY" will not return this season because of personal reasons.

This personal reasons thing really makes us fans and some other NBA fans curious about what's happening with the Warriors right now. I mean they don't want to disclose it in public or at least give some hints on what's happening on him. I'm also thinking that this might be a tactic for the Warriors for the upcoming season, but it's unlikely that they are doing it.

Anyway, their next game will be in a few hours against the Hawks "on the road" again. The 2nd out of the 5 consecutive road games for the team. Like you said, they're the defending champions and they will not just lost that title without doing anything. I'm leaning towards the fact that Wiggins and GPII will only play during the playoffs so that other teams can't scout them, and make some adjustments with them.

Why would they air out the dudes personal laundry if they don't have to.  There's plenty of times people sit out and the listing is personal reasons.  How tacky would that be if they tell the public who they don't owe and explanation to as why he isn't playing.  These are people too, things happen to people is what it is.

Will the Nuggets finally win this one on the road against the Pistons?
4 games losing streak. I think it should be the time to break it and bring their confidence back before the playoffs come. 13 games remaining and with them losing more, their fans are probably not happy about the bad results.

Another team that had been on the rough path was Phoenix Suns. After KD was injured they had been losing their games. 3rd losing streak against the Bucks but later they will be up against the Orlando Magic. This is the Suns' home so I bet they will be playing better in front of their home crowd.

Nuggets win the game and break their losing streak against Piston, a double digit deficit that for sure gives the bettor who takes the spread wins, A full forced Nuggets in a good performance.

That's something that for sure, an opponent will be hard to handle. Adding another win to continue securing the
top spot on the westside and securing a good spot in the playoff.

Wow, that was an easy win for them! They totally stayed focused this time and crushed it with a huge lead. Jokic did his thing and led the team to victory, almost getting a triple double with just one more assist needed. Everyone chipped in and the scoring was spread out, which is awesome. Hopefully, this is just the start of their winning streak, even though the Pistons aren't a big challenge. It's still a great start for the team!

Yes, it was a one-sided game since the game commenced as the Nuggets showed how dangerous they are when they are all serious to win any games. I just hope that they showed the same performance when they faced the Raptors on the road just recently because if they just focused on the game just like earlier, that same game is really winnable to their favor but that didn't happened as they kept on making mistakes. In the 4th quarter, they began to get serious but it was already too late as they couldn't keep up with the Raptors anymore.

He ended up only getting 8 games 6 of which already passed.  So he is eligible to play starting Monday night against Dallas.  Unsure if Memphis will throw him out there.  But make no mistake losing ja means losing money for the NBA, he is one of the new faces and makes the sport entertaining.  They won't push down one of theor cash cows unless it's something really bad.
But it seems to me that the Memphis Grizzlies management is not yet ready to give a warm welcome for Ja Morant, amidst the issue, the Grizzlies are not yet over with it because Ja Morant is the face of the franchise yet he failed to deliver the teams expectation towards him and wasn't professional enough to know what should he do and what's not.
Quote
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins himself poured some ice-cold water on Ja’s potential comeback. According to the Memphis shot-caller, Morant will NOT be returning to action against the Mavs.
To add even more mystery to this situation, Jenkins also did not indicate when the Grizzlies intend to allow Morant back. The embattled 23-year-old would have already served out his league-mandated eight-game suspension by March 20th, but as it turns out, the team isn’t ready to bring him back just yet.
https://clutchpoints.com/grizzlies-news-ja-morant-return-vs-luka-doncic-mavs-not-happening

We know that this is a very big risk for the team. Of course, he is the face of the team. And the team is also losing quite a lot because of not having him available. I am sure that if they could actually play him, they would have. There are some legitimate reasons. Of course, they feel he is not ready. After all, things could turn out for the worst if they let him on the basketball court right now.

I can only assume things. It is also not going to be very clever for anyone to believe what the media says. We all should wait for an official statement.

Everyone deserves a second chance. If the league can accept him again, there's no reason the Grizzlies cannot accept him. He is still young and prone to make mistakes, so let's give him a second chance. Besides, without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies wouldn't be where they are now.

After the cooldown of Ja's issue for sure Memphis will bring him back, with the talent this young star has, it's very possible that the franchise will bring him into action again..

Yeah, everyone deserves a second chance that a mistake will be remembered and will be a learning
experienced to him and will serve as a good warning to each player.

Yes, they will just cool it down and I kind of expecting this situation already that Morant will still face the Grizzlies decision before he goes back to court. That's just for the people so that the Grizzlies image won't be scathed that much because the franchise will face another issue if they will give Morant his seat back, either way, the Grizzlies still needed Morant amidst this issue. Just like Irving when he was under heavy criticism, the Nets doesn't have any liberty to make a choice because they needed Irving.

In this incident, coach Jenkins also said that the entire Grizzlies squad will fly back after every road games and will not spend nights on the road cities to avoid this scenario again.
