Curry already clear up this thoughts of people before and its clear that he don't want to join Lebron https://www.thescore.com/nba/news/2332937/curry-snubs-idea-of-playing-with-lebron-yall-can-live-in-that-fantasy-world So all news spreading is just a hoax and the creator of those article just want to have fast traffic on his article then want to earn huge money from people who visit their site or videos.
Fans are still hype with what they witnessed in the Olympics.

I think it was Lebron who wants to joined Curry as he change his profile with Curry and DUrant with him.
Lakers’ LeBron James makes Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant profile picture change They achieve the gold in the Olympics, I think they should take care of their respective teams in the NBA.

Curry will stay with the Warriors and lebron will likely retire with the Lakers.

That is how the clicks work, that is how they make money. I mean if you could make a lot of people click on your news or watch your news on youtube etc etc, you make money. Some dude making 12 minute video on youtube (last I remember you needed at least 10 minutes to monetize but maybe that changed) about this, will not talk about anything original, it is just what it is, he did it because he was happy, that's it, but he will talk about how Curry hates warriors because of Klay, or how curry hates because he wants to leave etc etc for 12 minutes.

Not because he believes what he says, but because he is literally making money that way and that is his job, same for news articles, that's their job and they need clicks and that's why they do this.

And they try make people believe that there's something wrong happening and Curry think about leaving to join Lebron. This is good headline and for sure people will get curious to know if this news is true or not.

If he were to transfer to another team, I think at his age he might not be focused on competing as intensely anymore, since he’s not getting any younger. He doesn’t have much left to prove after becoming a 4-time NBA champion, so joining a strong team could give him a chance to add more rings to his legacy. Maybe not with LeBron, because that would benefit LeBron as well, and if Curry wants to surpass LeBron in terms of the number of rings, he might want to avoid that. If that’s the case, I’d still want him to be on a championship-caliber team, like Dallas or Denver, perhaps.

GSW has enough budget and has core players that can potentially dominate the league once again. Actually, if Klay play like he use to be during their splash brother days maybe they can possibly have a chance to be a finals contender instead of Mavs.

GSW just lack a good center since Looney is so slow and unreliable while Green is too small to up against real big man like Jokic, Sabonis, Giannis, Embiid and many more. I think GSW will be a monster if they can get Wemby but I doubt Spurs will let go this young talent.

Curry is now the face of GSW that’s why he will possibly retire on GSW same with Kobe on Lakers since he has a strong fan based.

Being a four-time champion is already a significant addition to his legacy, and he’s now the best three-point shooter in NBA history. So, it’s unlikely that Curry would seek to play with other teams, especially since he and the Warriors still have a good relationship. Curry could bring in some players to form a super team, that’s possible, but leaving the team seems unlikely. Honestly, I’m thinking, what if Durant came back to the Warriors? I believe they could win another championship together, but hopefully, Draymond would reconcile with Durant and tell him face-to-face, "We need you."

Media is just creating drama towards Curry and they want people to think about that he will go to Lakers since this will catch a lot of attention which is beneficial to their articles.

I also don't think Curry would want to go anywhere since he is already near on retirement phase and provably that he want to retire as a Warrior.

But if there's big trouble happen and Warriors management will create something dumb action which can disappoint him maybe there would be a chance that he ask for a trade and go to other team. But I don't also think he want to go to Lakers since for sure he want to compete against Lebron. But let see further development since maybe there might be a big changes to happen. But Durant to Warriors? also seems not gonna happen he don't like Dray and provably that he would stay in Suns or just go on other team.

C'mon, they are taking it way seriously. He is just proud to be a world champion, that's it. I mean, that's the real-world champion, in my own opinion.
They played very well and they almost even lost against countries with strong rosters. Serbia almost got them but thanks to their resilience especially on the defensive end, they found their way back to win that match.

Who will not be proud of all that hardship and effort they did? It's for their country and that's greatness.
Fans will always make an issue of all the things they see on social media, it has become a norm these days. Grin

That's exactly it.  Amd it's not like he is a free agent anyway golden state would have to trade him.  I can see them going for it one more year but in the end they might want to part ways with steph to get a package of picks back eventually they will need to start the inevitable rebuild.  Let stwph go where he wants to go as a thank you and you get assets back.  Just not this year.
He is not a free agent and won't be, he will remain in the Warriors as he is comfortable with the franchise. And we can see him winning golds and so he is still very much as competitive as the young guys so we shouldn't say that Curry is no longer on his prime, he can still play and if the Warriors are going to rebuild, they still have plenty of time to surround him with great players.

Although they didn't make a move this season to get someone, a caliber player since Klay move out. But again, the team is still going to compete with Draymond Green and hopefully Kuminga and Wiggins are going to have a come out season again to help Steph chase that another ring, without Klay. Similar to Kobe when Shaq move out and then he works his ass off to bring another ring in the Lakers franchise.

If Curry doesn't want it himself, then the Warriors management will never let him go. I'm still inclined to believe that he will be in a Warriors uniform for the rest of his career, especially the other day there were rumors that Curry can either extend his contract for one more season ($62.6 million) until October 21 or he can wait until next offseason and sign a two-year contract worth $130 million.

For real men. Golden States Management will be dumb if they allow Curry to go in the other team while they are just some random team in NBA before they draft Curry on 2009 on hone his skills few years after.

Yes, I see him not playing in any other teams except GSW until he retires, and for all we know, after that he might be offered job in the management just to keep Curry on the Warriors side.

He had brought a lot of championships in this franchise, if not for him we wouldn't know the Warriors as a great team. He etched his name already, greatest shooter of all time and will likely retire as the best Warrior as well. But still early to say that, he has like a good 2-5 years to play or at least he has some years under contract with them.

And if I'm not mistaken, even Lebron James changes his twitter picture of the whole team USA, but we didn't make a big fuzz out of it until Steph changes his profile picture too. Just proved though that this players are very human, they are very proud of what they did to their country for winning the gold medal. And even if in the NBA they are in the different team, here they are one for their flag.

That's why they've changes their profile picture to show how happy and proud for bringing that gold medal. And it's not that easy road for them. They have to go over the hump before winning.

For those who are hard up on that conspiracy, they should probably check out his Twitter bio where he has listed "Warriors guard".  So yeah, there is not stock to be put in that at all.

Now paying attention to details like that CAN be telling at times, but normally it is when someone is a free agent or a year, two at most from being one, and they remove like all mentions of their team as well as photos of the team. This typically is when they are trying to get a contract extension.

Wheelz you're exactly right.  A move is going to be mutual.  Steph , the uncontested greatest shooter in basketball history hands down who brought them multiple championships is someone they want a legacy with until the day he dies.  He did so much for them they aren't going to ruin that relationship.  If Steph gets dealt it with be mutual.  They would only send him if he wants to leave and to where he wants to go.  No chance it goes down any other way.

He adjusted with his salary to give that some to Bronny and I think that next year might be the same when Bryce is about to get drafted or he'd get no adjustment as he gets 2 seasons for it unless there are some clause that can be adjusted.

What makes you think Lebron adjusted his salary? Looking at his contract, I wouldn't say he adjusted anything because he will get $48 million for the upcoming season, and he can get another $52 million for the 25/26 season. While Bronny will earn only $1 million for his first season in the NBA. I think it's not a big deal for the Lakers, considering that their salary cap for next season is $140 million.

It was in the news, Lebron receieved a lower salary than expected if he didn't allow to cut his salary.

LeBron James said he wanted to give the Lakers something back by taking close to $3 million less in his deal to keep the team from the salary cap’s second apron.
So that close to $3 million could be use to sign role players to help the roster improve. Might not be much but it's already a good amount of money to hire couple of players.
Thanks maslate for answering him.  Smiley

Lebron did really adjusted to give way to his son to have that $7.9M of contract as a rookie. Very few rookies receive that kind of salary except those starting five and first pick rounders.

Not that much but yeah that's good enough to bring role players to help them though might be a practice player or to make sure that Bronny will stay, kidding aside, with the new coaching staff it might bring new sets of system that they'll be going to use to bring something for the fans, though their current squad might not that deep compared to the teams inside West division but for sure they will make an impact and might surprise the fans.

Even retired and current basketball players who have their podcast will have to reinvent themselves and get players to be interviewed and then somewhat put some words into their mouths, and so yes, I do agree that this is just for clout and for clicks and viewership.
I remember that Cousins and Dwight Howard did have their podcast and talked shit about politics in the league. The teams don't want them anymore although they can still play but the younger calibers won't be easy to them. They could be right but they could also be wrong.

I do not thing that Steph will go out of the Warriors until he retires, he is the face of GSW until he retires, and he will still be chasing for the 5th crown to be the decades team and still continue their dynasty and it will be sweet without Klay Thompson. And if he accomplished it, then he will be one of the best player not just shooter in the last ten years or so.
While Klay is out of the Dub Nation, he remains to be the face of the team. I agree that he might not get out of retirement and just want to make an history for himself as one of the players in the NBA that never got out of their franchise until they have retired.

He's a franchise player and I think that if he really wants out of the Warriors, we'd see that anytime soon. But these articles and coverages, they're just adding spice to the story for engagement.

People are making a big deal out of Stephen Curry taking the Warriors out of his Instagram bio today and replacing it with Olympic Champion.  While I think this probably is just showing his joy in his recent accomplishment, people are speculating that it means Steph could be on his way out of Golden State.  We'll see.  I would love to see him team up with LeBron in Los Angeles, but I don't really see that happening either.  Still, something to be aware of I guess.

Grin
Fans will always make an issue out of everything that's on the social media, and for me, that's very toxic attitude, but that's how social media is right now.
Do you think that fans are just overthinking just because of what Steph did on his bio?

First, it's Lebron changing his profile picture with him, Steph and KD in one photo, and many said that there's a chance that all three of them will make a super team. Now Steph changing his bio is an issue again. Cheesy Like what you think, I also believe that he's just happy with his new achievement, but once the regular season starts, he will just change it to what's normal. As for Lebron and Steph playing together, I already said that their contract is just too much for either Golden State or Los Angeles, and there's a chance that they will be moving to the 2nd apron of the new CBA if both of them join together.

There's a way though for both of them to be on the same team. Both of them joining into a team that has a very huge cap space, or if both of them will take huge pay cut just to be with other star players because I don't think that both of them alone can carry a team without any good role players at all.
