We need to realize they have plenty of other good players now as well. Back in the day it was just curry-klay-draymond that carried the team and the other players could change, iggy and shaun livingston played a great role as well but wasn't the key factor if you ask me (how iggy got fmvp is still beyond me).
However, these days they added poole and wiggins which are at a much higher level and they so much, Curry is playing like it's one of his best seasons ever even at his older age, and we are seeing the team growing so much together. I am guessing that it's not going to be easy but they do have a chance to win the title again if they get better on defence.
Stephen Curry has been unstoppable this season. His performance was obviously one of the best ever. And it is also true that his team is being benefited from his performance a lot. Without Stephen Curry, I don’t think there was any chance for them to get this kind of results what they are getting. I know it’s always the team performance that wins the match, but in the end, solo plays like Stephen Curry's has to be appreciated.
But still the same formula though, big 3 + good to decent role players, now we have Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins.
Let me just add though that Jordan Poole has been criticized lately in the media as his game is somewhat going down specially with those "carry the ball" recently. But I disagree though, Poole just had a good game last night and this might be start of his game again. Similar to Klay who had some rough start, but was able to get over in their last 4 games or so. And for the first time they are .500 team again.
Poole just needs a little time. He will be able to perform better. No need to criticize him so much. And if a player is going through a rough patch, criticizing him is not going to help. Because the one thing that has always worked for players is motivation, not criticism.

You are right, defense is the key to warriors' success. Just like last year, they should have a good defensive man on the floor. They are overpowered in offense especially when 3's are going in. Between Curry, Klay, and Poole, they are already an offensive powerhouse. They needed someone that could replace what GP2 have done to them last year. I do not know in the current roster who can take that place, but Kerr should train one or acquire one.
I also agree with this. The Warriors have really good attacking power. They just have to start playing well on the defensive side of things. I think they should get a player who will be able to give them the defensive stability that they need. It will take a long time to train one. By the time they train a player to be like that, probably the roster is going to change a lot by then.
