I still have hope for 2019. You should be very optimistic, if you believe that the crypto market will recover, before the end of this year. But 2019, should be the next profitable year for everyone who is involved in the crypto currencies industry.
I hope the market as soon as possible turning green back. Seeing red color makes us less eager to cryptocurrency. May the storm cryptocurrency can quickly pass and change with a ride trend that can make happily when it see it. Too many assets reduced its current value.

No one can predict precisely. I think bitcoin can be 100K, 100K more or even below 100K. Depends on the situation and conditions in government, state and holder regulations. If the level of trust increases and the country approves the circulation of bitcoin, then it can reach more than 100K.

That would probably be the case now, we will definitely some stagnation in the upcoming months even years and then slowly rise in prices. I think the worst is behind us, there are great years ahead again and now is a really great time to invest some more.
I do not see it happening also but no one can really tell. Anything can happen in two years, new developments and new favorable regulations can easily pump the market. Remember that time when $1K increase can happen in just 1 day? It may actually happen again.

theres gotta be hope too in 2019 but its not that much considering the big fall of top 100 altcoins in the market

Just try to think realistic, dumpers and weak hands from year to year keep increasing. Most of many people join crypto don't mind about the technology, they just join for the quick buck and rich faster.

Why would you pin your hopes on what John McAfee says? He famously gambled to eat part of his own body if his prediction doesn't come true so will you also expect that to happen if he is wrong? I believe we will see a Bull phase beginning in Quarter 1 2019 but I do not expect Bitcoin to pass previous all-time highs any time soon. I do see it as a good opportunity to make some profits on quality altcoins however as they have been hardest hit in the downturn.
We can only see and monitor not to believe, other than that we can only hope for better value. Let people predict the crypto value of all this will be proven by time, so hope and hope patiently to get a profit later.
