For me every year is great year for all bitcoin earners because the value keep changing every year end and the result was profit and when you search the trend of value every year you can say that i am correct that is why if you have more time to collect bitoin do it and hold it for more years to gain huge profit in the future like what i am doing. But i have bitcoin for spending if i need cash and if my salary is short for our expenses.

2020 will be a good year for cryptocurrencies but i don't think it is that because of what you said.

i believe that very soon the altcoin market will blow up and all the crap coins will be flushed down the toilet where they came from. only good projects will survive the upcoming flush and the bear market where everyone is going to dump and dump hard.

in near future, hopefully, the projects will change purpose from useless pump and dumps that you see today to some real cryptocurrencies to be used in real life.

Definitely! It's very difficult to see exactly what the state of the market will be like after Segwit2x in a couple of weeks. 2020 is much too far away to predict. The expectation is that 2018 is better than 2017, 2019 is better than 2018, each year better than the one before... but many things can change this.

Why 2020 specifically? Is there btc halving coming that year? I guess yes. However, is that enough for a year to be good for selling coins? I don't think so. Your choice seems rather random. Who are saying that this is the year?
I think every new year is generally crazily good for most of top currencies. Just look at historical snapshots and you'll see that these drops we currently think of as significant are actually nothing in the general picture where coins simply rise in price with time mostly.

I remember the year, when I “got acquainted” with Bitcoin, 2013. If I am not mistaken, it was the only one cryptocurrency on the market. I managed to earn a bit even, but I was silly to exchange this amount into USD.

No one guessed that time that in 4 years BTC will grow up to $6,000. It will be natural to suppose than many altcoins will also grow in 3 years. However, I also do not exclude the situation, when the weakest virtual currencies will die.

I'm not sure how anyone could say a particular year in the future will be the "best year". There are a million factors which could affect Crypto growth and adoption, on top of that I believe Crypto hit a big growth phase already and the best days to grab a bargain (and 1000x your money) may be already over.

2020 may spring a surprise for you! Do not think for a second that is going to be easy ride. Crypto currency is gaining acceptance and there are still issues to be dealt with as far as bitcoin is concern. Yes 2020 may be year of maturity for crypto currency in general.
