But I think it is best to be careful with altcoins, they will rise as the price of Bitcoin increases, but at the same time, when the price of Bitcoin is slightly dumping, Altcoins are the most dumping. So it is best to stay away from all these coins, over time they will grow rapidly but after a while they will die again. And if you have invested, your money will be embezzled, you will only regret it.

I don't know what's your plans for Bitcoin, in terms of how long you are willing to hold, if you're holding a basket of coins or some Altcoins, it's advisable you consider taking profits the moment you realise a significant amount of profit, Because an Altcoin can increase or pump 10-50x in price and crashes in few days or weeks, that's what really happens during the Altcoins season you should be very much aware of, So, if you have long term goal for Bitcoin ,reinvest in Bitcoin.

I don't know why I also have feelings that the price of bitcoin might actually come low and it is going to be another opportunity to actually finish buying so as to be able to make more profit and it's usually very hard to predict the price of bitcoin but when they are situation we should no take for a joke because when there is an opening like this we should take advantage of it by buying because with way some things are taking place not it will affect the price of bitcoin.

And altcoin are not really an options to consider because anytime thay bitcoin is getting a new all time high it does not really affects the altcoins like that so, bitcoin will still be the one to invest so as to enjoy your investment if you can actually hold for a long time because it is not everyone that can hold for that long, it's either the price of bitcoin pumps or it reduces but either of the two the holder as more advantage.

Altcoin season might enter the market without us knowing. Although there are prior signs and signals before bullish season, but predicting what particular month or year that’s going to happen, no one can give a sure answer but all are just wild and educational guesses.

One thing is certain, altcoin reason appears when it’s no longer bitcoin bull run. And speculations occur that next to bitcoin bull run is altcoin season, yes it’s possible, but knowing when exactly it will happen, no one can be sure of that.

Well, I would say that good alt coins will remain as part of the market in long run. Alt coins like Ethereum, Lite coin, BNB, Doge Coin, Solana, Tron, Ton, and few others have been performing well cycle after cycle and there's chance that those will continue to perform good.

The alt coins that are new should not even be considered when it comes to investing because such alt coins will only lose value after the pumps and it's much risky to invest in such alt coins.

But that's not the problem as we HODLers have already noticed. Those "traders", the 90% of them, always make a sort of mistake that either makes them actual losers after the bull market is over, OR they are in profit but they have still underperformed Bitcoin.

I believe in such a situation, the lesson was learned the hard way and next time just HODL Bitcoin.

That's probably true, plus the summer months usually have lower volume/liquidity which would make every believe that the bull market is "over". But during bull market years, Bitcoin has always surged during November/December and mark its truly ALL TIME HIGH for that cycle, then crash.

It’s definitely hard and tough to predict the future of cryptocurrencies especially, with how volatile the market can be. Personally, I noticed that when Bitcoin reaches major psychological level which was the $100,000 level this year, we saw corrections and price fell under that level. Altcoins always tend to ride Bitcoin’s bullish wave but when the correction hits they crash even harder due to their higher volatility.

If we are indeed entering an altcoin season now, and by seeing history I suggest that we are going to see a strong bullish trend for some months, but timing the downward trend can be measured by any method. Many people may speculate that mid to late 2025 can be when we see significant corrections, especially if the hype dies down.

It’s an unknown game, beside political matters supporting and going against crypto in the strong countries plays a big roll in this market, but in any case, I prefer sticking to Bitcoin and stablecoins for anything if it goes wrong. Market always filled with surprises.

The market is back in the red which makes the atmosphere unpleasant to see. But that's the truth. This is where the difficult thing that many people can do in choosing which coins to trade.
Experience has proven that the safest way is to make long-term investments because rationality in terms of risk can be minimized rather than having to trade by choosing altcoins that may not be able to survive.
Profit is always the target and often in the pursuit of profit many people fall.

We will only witness an altcoin season once the season for bitcoin has no longer dominating in the market. Which means, if bitcoin turns bearish, altcoins will be the one to face the bullish season.

However, when bitcoin drops its price, altcoins will eventually follow. They follow whatever the path of bitcoin is. Those who stay on the downward trend and fail to recover, they will no longer be a part of the altcoin season, only those who have surge high after bitcoin falls.

Of course you can sell your altcoin when the price reach the highest price. That is for take your profit in the altcoin season so you can use some of the profit to buy back in the bear market. You can also use the profit money to reinvest in Bitcoin especially if you use DCA method.

I see you have a good altcoin which have a chance to increase in the altcoin season. We already see what happen to XRP and ADA and that will not stop to that price. The other coins in your list will be waiting for the right time to increase so you should be patience.

I think this is what I was looking to hear ^ . I will hold on the Altcoins until we see the altcoin season truly.

Honestly, I can't talk about altcoins and how they will do, because each of them will do differently, there are way too many altcoins to talk about them in a single sentence or even in a single post, there are tens of thousands of them, and even talking about a dozen different tokens and coins would be a very difficult one.

However, it's easy to make a calculation based on just the price of bitcoin because bitcoin is doing great. I believe that we are going to end up with a great return on that one, and there is nothing wrong with that, the moment we end up with a problem, we are not dealing with anything that benefits everyone and everything, so we should ignore those alts that may cause problem and focus on the beautiful bitcoin.

It is always hard to say for sure in certain years, although it is not impossible for it to happen in a certain year as you said. But seeing the current bullish conditions that continue to strengthen at the end of this year, of course the possibility of a price correction for coins and also for all altcoins could occur in the middle of next year, but I don't imagine it to be much bigger because there are now many people who have liked Bitcoin and also some of the top altcoins that have good networks at the moment. Certain years? For a down trend? Oh ho, I think that was pretty long but down trend is actually happening that often compared to an up trend and they can also last longer. The market has been bullish like these for quite a long time now, so I think a down trend is already forming and incoming maybe in the first or second month of 2025. Maybe that was true that there are now lots of people involved here but that can also be a reason for much bigger dump when all or most of them sell their cryptos. This is most of the people don't realize but they think only good things will occur, although a huge dump is also a good thing if you have a versatile mindset.

All of these coins are legacy coins from the previous bull market and in my view, most of them are doing nothing and some of the project teams are already working on some other narrative coins, zero marketing with some of the coins.

FIL is a decent coin but tokenomics are not very promising, ADA is most likely going to hit the previous ATH almost, and for EOS I'm not sure AAVE is the greatest pick here, XRP is doing something if goes great we can hit a 3x from the current level in my analysis.

DOT and TRX are almost same, DOT is more non-serious in term so f marketing and development.

Maybe we are starting to see a downward trend. The entire cryptocurrency market is bloody right now. I don't know how long this bloody position of the market will last. As Bitcoin has gone from $108,000 to $99,000, the altcoin market is completely collapsing. Each coin is dumping about 20 percent to over 50 percent. In such a situation, those who are holding altcoins are facing a lot of losses in their investments or trading. I don't know if the altcoin session will start in 2025 and if we will be able to recover some of the altcoins we are holding. Because the market situation is not looking good at all.
