Noob question: why does the block reward appear to be 38,xxx coins? I mean I get the 25btc reward, but arent the btc to pay the transction fees supposed to come from the users?

There's a few transactions with 0.1, 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0 BTC for fees in the block. People wanted to be part of the glory I guess.
