something to sell? or is this an pre-order???

6 BTC x 29 = 174 BTC for the lot of 29 Miners which are on hand and ready to sell as soon as our monthly hosting is over in about 2 weeks from now at Oregon mines. The buyer will either pick them up personally or they will cover the cost of shipping to the address of their choice. If you wanted to keep them hosted at Oregon mines that can be arranged with them as well.

Kind regards.

Exactly, if something like this happens you go there personally and get your items and all expenses you incurred you keep all receipts and sue them for it if you had to travel a distance to get your items.

Filing suit against a company does not mean much when they have no money or assets.  It is hard to seize money and assets when the company has none, and that is after money for lawyers and once you win your suit.  Basically you are better off saving your money on courts and lawyers and not filing suit.

How can they not have your equipment? They can't sell it to cover their loses as it doesn't belong to them in the first place. Doesn't make sense at all. What we are paying for is a service to run our equipment, if the equipment is not returned back to us after a company goes bust then that means that company employees stole from the customer and hence will be fully liable for the equipment, clear cut case. Anyway I don't have a problem with them so far except the temps are running too hot due to the extreme hot weather but according to them they are working on that.

We'll get Oregon mines to send us pictures of the miners and we'll post them here. We'll arrange for oregon mines representative to comment on the forum that they received our miners.

Just so you know, Oregon Mines is run by the same people who ran Minersource, including Matt Carson and his family. Minersource has done some extremely scammy things, and owes a lot of people money. Minersource owes me and my brother about $34k, for example, and they owe Bitmain and Black Arrow a lot of money too. They disappeared without warning, then created Oregon Mines instead. It might be too late, but I would suggest you do some more research on them before committing to hosting with them.

They owe you guys $34K and you didn't get in your cars and pay them a personal visit?  Shocked

For that money I'd be calling friends in high (and low) places and collecting on favors to pay those dbags a personal visit.

i might be interested in all of them at 150 btc delivered in the US.  The problem i see id that there is new hardware announced and coming out like Bitmain S7 and the sfards 1.7 th with scrypt mining at less than 1000 watts.  I understand if you cannot, will not affect me 1 bit.  btw- escrow with a reputable person is a must-- other option is send by COD with UPS - they still have that service available.

cheers

6 BTC x 29 = 174 BTC for the lot IF we were going to sell. So if you are willing to pay that and wait until about mid next month when our monthly hosting is over then we maybe consider but nothing less than that is acceptable.

That's all I needed to hear.  I am no longer willing to provide escrow services for this sale.  If Minersource is involved in any way, it is a scam.

I know that at least 10 of these miners exist and are owned by Wissam, since he hosted with us for a month. I know Centerus has those ten, and I've seen strong evidence indicating that they had another 19. I do not believe Wissam to be acting in bad faith. If a scam is occurring, I expect Wissam is going to be the victim of it.

That said, OgNasty, I can respect your position.

They are providing a hosting service, when they feel they can't provide the service due to any reason they can just ask people to collect their miners, I don't see what's the problem there. Their is enough evidence that they collected miners to be hosted and they are a registered company so at anytime any one can sue them if something is not right.

BTC things that happened in the past a lot of people lost, I'm sure they were some too, now is the present and they have a co location facility give them the chance to build up. Matt Carson is an employee there he does not own the company from what I know.

Wissam

You do realize that loss included people not getting equipment they own... Good luck to you

Here is a picture of the miners being moved from CenterUS in Washington state to their new home Oregon Mining in Oregon just encase people think it's a scam. We will refer back to this post in the future if we decide to sell so people can see it's for real.

Screen shot of our hosting contract

Miners will be going to be hosted at https://www.oregonmines.com once they are transferred soon they will not be available for sale anymore, so if you are in the WA area and want to see them and buy them this weekend you should act fast. The price is 170 BTC. To arrange payment and pick up private message us. If you want escrow you can use OGNasty escrow but you will have to cover all the extra cost, we will need to receive 170 BTC NET, so consider the added -4 BTC discount to help you with your escrow cost.

Kind regards.

Miners to be picked up tomorrow to their new hosting home at Oregon mines so unfortunately they are not for sale anymore. If in the future we are to choose to sell them then we will post again. Again this was not a scam, and Oregon miners would attest to that when they receive them.

I would have bought one for 6 BTC with delivery in the USA ) escrow?

We're happy to accept the sale however we will expect payment to arrive and once payment arrives then the hosting provider will transfer ownership to you. You will talk to them to arrange the shipping and the cost involved in shipping etc.

Wissam

Nobody will buy anything from you without escrow.  The way you are trying to do this sale is unsafe and nobody is going to directly send you BTC before receiving goods.  It just isn't going to happen.  You might as well lock this thread and stop wasting everyone's time.

The person buying will need to cover escrow cost then. We have never used such services before so we don't know how it works.

I have the same feeling. I asked for escrow and/or to see miners in person. But he insists on payment upfront.

Please use escrow everyone.

Last we discussed you were going to see them in person. I told you send me an email listing the terms we agreed on and i'll forward those terms to Centerus and ask them to show you the miners, I didn't tell you to pay first without seeing them, go and re-read your messages.

Are you offering escrow?  (I would be happy to assist)

Does the 6 BTC include the cost of shipping in the US?

We need to receive 174 BTC in total and buyer needs to either pick them up or arrange shipping. We will link them up with the current hosting provider so they can discuss when and where they are picking up the miners from. Postage will be covered by the person buying. We are looking to sell all to 1 buyer if possible to avoid too much hassle.

People seem to want to buy the miners right now and they want to pay a lower price for them, so this is what we will do then.

- We will make the miners available for sale right now instead of July.
- 6.0 BTC each and no wait times, as soon as you pay the miner is yours and we will arrange with the hosting provider to arrange the contract change or to arrange pick up or postage etc.
- If you don't want to host with this hosting provider then you will need to pick up the miners yourself or arrange shipping yourself.

Let's get selling!

The obscene pricing people are trying to get for soon to be completely outclassed mining gear boggles my mind.

8 BTC for a used miner that's out of warranty and has poor power/gh ratio.

Good luck finding a sucker to buy a 4th/sec miner that uses 3kw.

what you like for one ?

7 BTC for 1 but we will only sell when all 29 of them are purchased. So if you are happy with 7 BTC let me know how many you want so we can reserve them for you. Private message me so we can arrange further.

What exactly is the reasoning for this?  Pretty sure you're going to drive potential buyers away by doing this.

Yeah 6-8 months after use and expecting 80% price zone, is not being realistic at all.

You wouldnt want to lower the price at all?

We said that we can do 6.5 BTC each for the lot of 29 miners if they stay with the current hosting provider. You can choose to take them to somewhere else but I don't know if you can find less hosting than $75 per KW/month, but you will have to arrange to pick them up or get them posted. So 6.5 BTC x 29 = 188.5 BTC net for all.

I fail to see how 6.5 BTC is not a good price. BTC rate will be going up as soon as the economy bubble crashes because that's when people get rid of their fiat and buy Gold, and this time besides gold there is BTC. Sit tight and hold on to your miners and don't sell for dirt cheap.

Please no more arguing, this is the price and it's not coming down, either buy or ignore.

Wissam

I said 8 BTC not 6.5 BTC. Please pay attention or don't put words into my mouth. Good luck with your unrealistic (8BTC) sale.

Actually you paid ~10 BTC and you want 8 BTC after more than 6-7 months of usage.

Well you can try and buy a brand new SP miner now if you like. Oh wait they don't sell them anymore... Besides they were not bought 1 year ago it's been since November so that's 7 months.

I would also like to buy a VW Polo 9N3, but they stopped making them in 2009 and nobody is asking the full price for a second hand car and nowhere near the full price of a new car so get real and lower the price.

What I see here is that you haven't considered that the exchange rate may go down and you never prepared for this. It's your call if you want to still mine with them or to sell them and by the looks of it the miners will stay in your possession. Good luck!

That is your opinion, if you find it cheaper elsewhere please go ahead and buy it else where. When we bought them we got them for $4500 each, so be happy that you are getting them for around $1800 or $1600 each if they buy the lot.

Actually you paid ~10 BTC and you want 8 BTC after more than 6-7 months of usage.

Your calculation takes into account when USD rate was 475, so your argument is void. At current rate our purchase price would be 21 BTC, so 7 BTC is not a bad deal.

We would consider 6.5 BTC if you continue hosting with our hosting provider which is cheap and charges a low $75 /KW/Month.

Wissam

And your assumption of 21 BTC is for the price that you paid for a brand new miner almost 1 year ago. Like every used thing the value deprecates so the real value now isn't $4500. When SP-Tech sold out the SP31 miners the price was $2k for a brand new miner, not used like yours so if we take the brand new miner price and we adjust it to the current exchange rate it is ~9BTC so your argument is useless*. So don't try to sell a used car with the a price that is higher than a new car.

*I am aware that converting a price from a few months ago to the current exchange rate is a bit strange, but I did it to show how wrong you are.

You should be happy even.

Sure. Listen to wh00per. Bask in the glory and magnanimity of being able to spend $1600-$1800 to purchase something OP originally paid $4500 for.

You should be happy even.

What do I know ?

*shrugs*

PS: Interested buyers, make sure you use escrow when dealing with new accounts. This is a brand new user to these forums.

wh00per is a smart apple probably listen to some sense from him ;-)

I love how "we" should be happy to over pay because "your" paid 4500 each for them.

I am in sales for a living so I am the first person to respect commanding a higher price for an item. That being said, it has to still fit into what the market is willing to pay. Best of luck to you though, I hope you get it!

Remember we're looking at a miner willing to part with his equipment while it's still profitable. Being in sales for a living, makes you have different targets than he has.
IMHO a sales guy tries to make a sale no matter what (get the best price for whatever he has to sell), while an operations guy tries to make a living from managing his equipment, avoiding downtime etc.

One SP30 at this point makes around 1 BTC per month .. you can expect about 25-30 BTC/mo (conservative) from the whole lot. Everyone does their own calculations.

Exactly wh00per, besides we mine solo with these miners and find 2-4 blocks a month so that's 50-100 BTC clear so now you know why we are in no rush to sell. We do expect the USD rate to climb as BTC is now starting to be put to good use much more than before. We give the opportunity to sell as we said because we want to use the funds in other investments NOT because it's not profitable, quite the opposite. The longer we hold on to them the more profit we make, and us selling for a higher price than what other people are offering shows that indeed we are in no rush to sell further proving that it's profitable.

So there you go, we either sell all or nothing because solo mining is profitable only with BIG hash rate like ours and so because of this we will not sell them separately unless the price is 9.0 BTC as that will hurt our solo returns and we can't have that.

wh00per is a smart apple probably listen to some sense from him ;-)

We are looking to get 8.0 BTC for each of these miners but we can arrange a special discount for the total price of 203.0 BTC (7.0 BTC each)
Who in their right mind would pay 8 BTC for one of these units ?

It's obscenely overpriced.

That is your opinion, if you find it cheaper elsewhere please go ahead and buy it else where. When we bought them we got them for $4500 each, so be happy that you are getting them for around $1800 or $1600 each if they buy the lot.

Thanks for your "Professional" Advise. Anyone that is not happy with the price they don't have to buy. We will continue to make profit mining with a respectable hash rate and when the USD rate goes up it will be even better.

So let me get this right... You are wanting people to pay and have to wait for others to pay before buyer gets any equipment...

Seems rather strange

Payment will not be required until all 29 x SP30 Miners have been reserved by the people buying, meaning that once the people wanting them have reserved all 29 x Miners then we will request the payment coordinating it with the hosting provider CenterUs to transfer the miners to mine for the new owners and complete any paper work that they have that transfers the ownership of the miners to their new owners.

We're making profit on them running at our current hosting provider so we are not in a rush to sell. For those that are looking to get them at the price we are offering that's fine if you can get it cheaper from someone else please by all means do so.

I am glad someone said it... The pricing for those miners is even beyond ebay pricing.

Did you survey the market first? It would be hard if not impossible to get that pricing even on eBay (after fees) but that may be your best bet if you want something approaching 7 or 8 BTC per unit..

Hi Everyone,

My name is Wissam of BTC TECH PTY LTD and we have 29 x SP30 miners up for sale.

We are looking to sell these 29 x SP30 miners as soon as our hosting term with CenterUs is over in early July this year as our company will need the funds for use in other investment plans.

As we already mentioned, the miners are being hosted at CenterUS https://www.centerus.com/services-view/hosting/ as they are the cheapest and one of the best hosting providers on the market for these miners at $75 per KW/Month.

We are looking to get 8.0 BTC for each of these miners but we can arrange a special discount for the total price of 203.0 BTC (7.0 BTC each) for anyone that is looking to secure all 29 x SP30 Units.

The plan is that once our hosting term is completed in early July, we will request CenterUs to transfer ownership of the miners to their new owner(s).

Before the buyer makes any payment, we will discuss the transfer with the hosting company so that they are aware of the transfer of ownership and so that you know that you are indeed buying the real thing. We understand that some people are cautious when it comes to paying their bitcoin due to scams, but we will not accept anyone's bitcoins until all 3 parties involved (Us the Sellers, the Hosters (CenterUs) and the Buyer (You)) have discussed the agreement before hand, only then will be request the people interested to make their payments.

Selling options:

1) 1 Buyer buys all 29 x SP30 Miners for 7.0 BTC each for a total of 203.0 BTC. 1 Buyer buys all 29 x SP30 Miners for 6.5 BTC each for a total of 188.5 BTC.

2) If the 29 x SP30 Miners are to sell separately then we will not sell them until all payment of 7.0 BTC is in from each buyer as we are looking to sell everything or nothing because our mining is still very profitable.

3) If we couldn't get all miners reserved and paid for at 7.0 BTC and you still wanted some of the miners then we will be willing to sell each for 8.0 BTC.

Feel free to contact us to discuss further or to arrange payment for the miners.

Kind regards.

Wissam

People seem to want to buy the miners right now and they want to pay a lower price for them, so this is what we will do then.

- We will make the miners available for sale right now instead of July.
- 6.0 BTC each and no wait times, as soon as you pay the miner is yours and we will arrange with the hosting provider to arrange the contract change or to arrange pick up or postage etc.
- If you don't want to host with this hosting provider then you will need to pick up the miners yourself or arrange shipping yourself.

Let's get selling!
