You can invest in some of the very good projects/altcoins around there, they will be huge in the coming months in the coming years, look at VET/VEN vechain for example, tons of usecases and amazing partnerships, there are alot of shitcoins ranked high at cmc and VEN is not even in top 20, this is the time to invest in this amazing project, on the other side I am convinced the Daneel.io ICO will be succesfull since they try to solve a real problem in the crypto markets.
Probably, The better choice is to divide them into 3 currencies . And this will do on this way:
50% to invest into bitcoin because it is the only currency that is sure to rise in the future.
25% to invest into Ripple (XRP) also the value of this currency is small compared to other currencies and when investing a large value of them, then the profit will be important, especially when the price will develop in big quantity.
25% to invest into Ethereum (ETH) and It is in continuous progress and it is expected to continue that in the near future.
50% to invest into bitcoin because it is the only currency that is sure to rise in the future.

Buy Bitcoin and Ethereum with the half of this amount at least, and divide the remaining amount between other promising coins and tokens. BTC and ETH will remain in top for long years most likely and their prices are expected to rise even higher.

I would start with 3-5 coins. Include bitcoin and ethereum and then pick 1-3 coins that you are interested in and believe in. It always helps to have coins that you actually have an interest in because it will be much easier for you to keep up with their activity etc.
devide them on 3 parts: bitcoin, ethereum ,alcoin in rates 50% , 25% , 25%. then hold, wait for a good opportunity to change one on another. change rates everytime the price go down, to the moon and your stack will growth and growth!

better to check the market mate, i think top 10 alts would be good for investment as we see bitcoin is falling again then better to divert

If I were you I'd like to buy many low cap coins like Universa, SingularityNet, Bitclave and so on. The first two projects are not listed yet, but they will raise very fast for sure.
I would buy on 1000$ the tokens of the Quantstamp and on 1000$ the tokens PlayKey, both projects are very underestimated in price.

Divde your fund in parts. Don't put your hard money in one coin. I think you can buy some ONION, ARN, XRP, WAVES. These all are my best adviceable coins.
I would spread the majority between BTC and ETH, then some in XMR,XLM,IOTA

to be honest bitcoin and ethereum is the best choice, but you can also choose other alt at top 20 alt in cmc. before you invest, you should do research and also discuss with your community.
