I'm trying to understand the game here.

Are there 101 different numbers, 0 through 100, with equal chances of coming up?

And to win "below 1", I have to roll a 0?

And it pays out 50x if I do it?

So I have a 1 in 101 chance of winning 50x?

Is that a 50.495% house edge?

I expect the answer to at least one of the above questions is "no", but I don't know which one.

Hey dooglus Smiley

Are there 101 different numbers, 0 through 100, with equal chances of coming up?

No, actually the probability of a number coming up changes depending upon whether I roll above or below a number and the house edge. Lets say I decide to roll and expect the number to come below 50, the probability of is almost 50/50 , but with the house edge of approximately 1% its more like 49% chance that the number will come below 50 . I do not know if I answered your question .

It sounds like you're saying the "random" number generation changes based on how the user bets.  This is the exact opposite of probably fair.

Let's go back a step:

1) What are the possible numbers that can be rolled?

2) How do you decide which number to roll when I play?

And to win "below 1", I have to roll a 0?

The probability of a number coming above 1 is quite high , but if you roll below 1 there is 1 in 50 chance of the number coming to be 0, hence the 50x bet. So yes in order to win below 1 (50x your bet) , you will need to get a 0.

Again, you're making it sound like the chance of rolling 0 depends on how I bet.  If I bet on "below 1" then there is a 1 in 50 chance of rolling a 0.  There can't be that high a chance of rolling the other 100 (or 99?) numbers, or it would make a total chance of 101 in 50.  (or 100 in 50).

The house edge is 0.9% , lets say if you roll above 1 , there is 99.1% chance of getting a number above 1 and 0.9% chance of getting a number below 1 i.e. 0 .

And again - the chance of rolling a 0 is different now.  You just told me there was a 2% (1 in 50) chance of rolling 0 if I'm aiming for 0, but if I'm aiming for "above 1" it's 0.9%?  How does that work?

So there's a 99.1% chance of rolling above 1.
And a 0.9% chance of rolling below 1.
That leaves a 0 chance of rolling exactly 1.
That's some kind of crazy random number generator you've got there.

I hope this helps

axorb

That doesn't really help at all.  It leaves me thinking that your grasp of English isn't really good enough to have this conversation.  Or maybe your grasp of the math involved, I'm not sure.  But maybe your system really is as odd as you make it sound.  If that's the case I think you really need to explain it better on the site.

My best guess about what dooglus is asking and what I am also trying to understand is the winning odds. If you do have 101 numbers, and you pay out x50 on below 1 (with only 0 as a winning possibility), the actual odds of that is 1 in 101, which makes it ~50% house edge. However, if your game script accounts "1" as a win when you roll below 1 (giving wins on both 0 and 1), then the odds are 2 in 101 and then the x50 payout has about 1% house edge and is fair. So which one of the 2 cases is it?

Yes, that was actually an error from our end , we will fix the below 1 thing asap

Small error :p
