Apparently, the decrease in the price of bitcoin in the first quarter of 2018 did not have a significant impact on the growth of the number of installations. In fact, the last decline of this indicator was observed at the end of 2015, when the bitcoin price was at the level of $ 200. According to the latest data, we can talk about two trends: 1) the demand for the purchase and sale of bitcoins through vending machines is growing; 2) for operators this business is profitable despite the volatility of the BTC price. In addition, the share of ATM with which you can both buy and sell bitcoins has also increased. Now they account for more than 35% of all machines.

It is not clear about the reality. It's good news though. This will be an increase in the credibility of bitcoin. Compared to the global scale, 3000 ATM  is less. I want to increase it.

Bitcoins distributors are increasing. Indeed, the symbolic bar of the 3 000 distributors in the world has just been crossed, and there are about six new installations each day. So the situation is changing very quickly.

Yes it is, with the increase the investors in the crypto currencies and the business began to look at them in another way. More and more companies are turning to new developments based on blockchain technology.  Grin Grin

Usually, I don't bother answering to people who post in this kind of threads after the 4th page but..what the hell.
You have four questions, there is one simple answer for all of them:

https://coinatmradar.com/

You can check their location, the type, the owner, the fees (for those that provide the info) etc etc....

Two post above you is post by Ubay82 who is quote my post with same link you posted - you may did not notice that, although it's pretty hard to not notice...Also by posting just a link to answer some question should be far away from quality post.

As I say before OP is fascinated by the number of crypto ATMs, but since most of them are in USA&Canada this number does not mean too much for for the rest of the world.

I think that this figure will grow with a geometric progression. Capitalization of all crypto-currencies will also grow. We will all see this ...

Hi there Fawez! It sounds so interesting. I haven't seen so many ATM you are talking about. Who is the company behind those atm? Is it fully operational or it is just a plan? However, do you have the maps or the link where those ATMs are? And do all of those residing in each country? On the other hand, I have rarely seen bitcoin atm. And I didn't even have tried to use one.

Number of BTC ATMs is unquestionably increases every day, but when you look at map of available ATMs approximately 2500 of the total 3100 is located in North America, 1972 in USA and 535 in Canada. I think that this fact speaks for itself, we are far away to see much better coverage in other part of the world. For instance one small European country Austria have 178 locations, and so-called most friendly county Japan only 11 locations.

Bitcoin ATMs by Country

It turns out my country is already in the list even though only 1 location. Hopefully another time multiply. Seeing the increasingly known BITCOIN by the wider community, With the support of the semog community In a developing country like my country will legalize in the future. Many doubted the growth of bitcoin but bitcoin showed its strength.

Additionally, transaction fee and speed should be addressed first before those machines could function almost instantly.

Many say that we don't need ATM with cryptos, but I feel that's a good place to start integration of cryptos in real life. Most of people are still not ready for cryptosociety, so with ATM they can at least see something familiar, but 3000 for the whole world? Too little

Increasing the number of ATM bitcoin shows the existence of cryptocurrency is getting stronger. But, I am still confused, what is the advantage of buying bitcoin at ATM rather than through the exchanger?

Yes this is expected. When more and more people get to know about Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies they will want to by them. And if there is a very easy way to purchase cryptocurrencies that would be extremely valued by customers. I think the installation of Bitcoin ATMs around the world is providing a solution for that issue. Lets see if this will make more people to use Bitcons as a currency instead of a entity that can store value.

The main problem in these ATMs is a high commission. I want to believe that the growing competition will reduce commission fees
