MSI and Gigabyte product pages for their 3060 12GB cards are up and also show a memory speed of 15gbps. Looks like the 17gbps speed value from Wccftech was bogus.

3060 memory speed is 17 Gbps and 3060ti is 14, that is 20% more, so yeah 50 to 55mhs at best is my take.

This might be the best card ever to purchase for mining and likely to have a good resell value too since is 12gb. The question now is price.

I dont think its a strategy its usually due to what RAM is available from the manufacturers at the time. What they have to pay for it and what kind of price point they want the GPU. Like in your example 3080's use GDDR6x and 3060's use GDDR6 which is a lot cheaper.

Every GPU is different start with 0 core clock +1,000 mem and lower power until you starting getting under 60MH then stay with that power setting and experiment with higher mem and lower core. Every 3060 ti i've worked with settles 61-63Mh 118-130w depending on brand and silicon.

You need to fiddle around it. His settings worked out for him, for you it will be different, every gpu needs to be set to find the best possible hashrate.

You see that is the problem because he said there were never invalid shares with that card. The gpu one day decided it would not work at 2150mhz anymore.

I'm not sure if memory overclock of a normal gddr6 +1150 is safe. As long as you dont get invalid shares I guess is safe shorterm but long term not sure, my friend has a rx 470 samsung memory that mined eth for years at 2150mhz and now it works only at 1750 - 1800, if more than it crashes.

I expect nothing less than 45 to 50 mhs from the new 3060 gpu and the worst thing about new gpu is MSRP, if you aren't fast enough the price will skyrocket in a very short time and huge buyers will get the biggest advantage, probably sell back to others on ebay or Amazon for 600& each, this happens all the time with new gpus

10% faster memory, 25% slower bus, I said the 2 x 3060 12gb = 1 x 3080 10gb, not the 3060ti 8gb model. Also we are not sure if this is an already overclocked memory version, so maybe the memory overclock is already in by default.

Also 1 x 3080 = 100mhs, not good if more than this, i myself have 2 and pushing to 105 is not that good for 24/7 for a long period, better be safe than sorry. Also the 3060ti version I don't have any but i would have to see how safe is the memory for 24/7 to determine how max it can get. I would say 60 at moment. As soon as I get one I will test it. So 3060ti = 60mhs, 3080 = 100mhs, and 3060 = 52mhs is what I think.
