No that's just the site being funny. When it's down it sometimes shows a cache it's a feature of cloudflare, so you were looking at prices from 10 hours ago. This was happening to me earlier too and had me very confused until I figured out what was going on.

litecoin should reach $5 by year end, it's rise is likely to have more volatility than btc, speculation will likely fuel the initial surge to $3+.
I don't know if I entirely believe it......................

It hit $.16, came back down a bit, but this insane. I had predicted a long term valuation of 1/100th of a BTC, but that was by the end of the year or 2014. It might be $.25 a coin by the end of March/April at this rate, which is a ridiculous rally. If it drops back down to $.10 a coin, which looks unlikely, Im buying a ton of them.
