hi, just broke through my first 4hrs, guess the limits keep the board clean, not sure how they do the same at sites like stackoverflow etc but they have pretty clean boards.
I'm having trouble getting to 3 coins (to full member)

yes they should do a restriction on post but not pm's, 360 seconds after each post is a good to prevent newbies from spamming.
Why would you need to pm many people as a newbie?I believe it is to stop the bots from sending mass PMs with phishing/malware etc

You have to wait 6 minutes after logging in before posting. Logging in counts as a 'post' apparently.

I've adjusted the limits to make spamming more difficult.
