My gratitude. You can make those predictions all day long.  Grin

I shall now predict the next lottery result and the date of the second coming.
What about 'next round in 3h 15min prediction' Tongue

EDIT: Folowed by sub 1h round
Close - 3h 23min
Any takers for the next one?
And a 36min one ... what did I won?

I wasn't talking about the number of shares, but for the chance that i am wrong i.e. 0.25%

OK
The far right limit of CDF (i.e. infinity) Grin

Let's take the far right of the graph on Slush or less than 12.33 times the difficulty.

My bet is 'the round will be less than that' = less than 38587637235 shares

EDIT: It's late evening here so don't trust my maths, but that should be 1/4 of the percent (0.25%) that I am wrong

FWIW my estimated reward snapshot is bouncing around more than a tin can on a tidal wave. Whoa Nelly! Let's lock in that answer. Lips sealed

Lot's of theories floating around these days about the pool.

One fact is that the old timers (well if 6 months mining is an old timer) are lying low and by looks of the cluster performance the preponderance of evidence says those big rigs the "old timers" have are staying connected to the pool. Now if I were a betting man I'd put my money on the old timers knowing that things are ok in a general sense and problems will sort themselves out in time.

To look to the pool as the major fault when you still have training wheels on your rig is probably looking in the wrong place.

Man, 2 12 hour blocks in a row is depressing.

So is a current Bitcoin price of under $600

The flip-side of that though, is that people buying hardware with BTC will wait until the value bounces back, so our existing GH/s will be less diluted until it does.  And only a few days ago, we had six blocks in 2 hours, so don't despair!

Not being a conspiracy theorist or general moaner nor am I a genius but I have noticed that as soon as the pool hash rate goes over 800TH the blocks get massively longer.
SO......
if some of you conspiracy theorists or serial moaners wouldn't mind doing a one,  to bring the hash rate below 800Th again I and my earnings would appreciate it....

cheers

Yeah, I think the database is breaking down when we grow. I know one of the last technical issues reported to us had mentioned breakdown when approaching 900th, and yes while it was being fixed our rounds were long, problem resolved and they sped up drastically.

To all that complied with my request to do a one and bring the hash rate below 800TH - I Thank You - a 12hr block ended and another in 2 hrs - I shall now predict the next lottery result and the date of the second coming.

The web page of the hub that you are using does not specify the current of the power adapter.  This is probably your limiting factor.  You may just try the software overclocking and see if it works for you.  In most cases it is possible to replace just the power adapter with one of a higher capacity (I have done that with very cheap 10 port hubs that came with 2A power adapters which tended to die very quickly). The fan could be powered from a free USB port on your PC, or from a separate 'USB charger' adapter.

In regard to Slush reporting of hashing power, it is correct if you are hashing steadily from or before the start of a block, but as it is based on the 'shares so far' tends to be quite inaccurate if there are any changes in your hashing.  You may try another pool such as BTC for a short period of time just to check out your hashing 'on the air' if that concerns you.  Both cgminer and bfgminer provide good reporting of the hashing rates, so you can rely on that.

Cheers

I really don't think its my hardware. From the way things look in bfgminer all is normal and the antminer U1's have the one light on and the one green light flashing like they have from day one.

I'm starting to think it might be time to cut my losses with this pool and move on. Just to make sure if it's or isn't my hardware I'm going to mine a different pool and see wwhat the stats show for it.

Slush still no fix? 2 blocks in a day? oh boy....800 gh/s pointed at slush because I trust him and it will be fixed still/everything corrected...i think they are getting to big to handle,to only have limited staff members at least

I'm wondering if the 10 round average hash rate is throwing people off. It was 1994 when that 1st of 10 rounds was executed. Grin

Two blocks in 24 hours. Sad. The twilight of the gods is upon up. Woe, woe.

Maybe it's a new weapon in the battle for bitcoin.

"We point our ray beam of unfathomable hashes at the opponents pool thereby rendering it useless all the meanwhile continue to mine on our pool with a single ASICminer USB stick and get all the coin." Brilliant!

I know one of the last technical issues reported to us had mentioned breakdown when approaching 900th
You keep repeating this, without providing proof when asked several times ... well here is that message:
"Datacenter connectivity issues have caused short drop in the hashrate. The problem has been resolved and all stratum servers are now reachable. This all happened when 900 Th/s was within a reach. We will get there again with your support and participation in mining ;-)"

So where does it mention database? Where you read that the pool can't keep up with 900Th ?
