I'm not too worried. Usually it's just the statistics that we are missing on the frontend servers that are playing up. Slush always fixes these hiccups.
The Mining is still chugging along in the background as others have seen( eg: blocks 286275, 286296 and 286308 have been found).
So we have more payments coming when it is sorted out and the pool luck will look much better after the re-calculations

Now if this pool was a division of MtGox on the other hand I'd have a different opinion.    Shocked Grin
Thankfully it's not.  lol  Cool

I'm getting this too, yet miners are working. Anyone else seeing this issue?
Now the web site went into 'maintenance mode' so that they can fix those mix-ups.... It will get sorted.... the mining continues, it is just in the reporting (we hope).

According to https://blockchain.info/blocks/Slush there are 3 blocks found by Slush: 286275, 286296 and 286308
These are not reported in the stats page (similar to the issue with 286209 that took 'ages' to be acknowledged by Slush... Is our pool admin asleep again?
(and if these 3 blocks are actually ours, then our luck and rewards are not as bad as it seems...Smiley

yeah this is not a 13 hour block. we found at least 4 during that time. Slush will fix it when he gets "back" from "x".

yeah i can see slush in my mind now.....in a silk robe with all the hotties in the room (he does get 2% fee on the pool funds what is the $$$ of that?)

telling them 'alas i have to take a break for 20min and fix the 'serfs' pool stats' i'll be back warm up w/o me

the poor guy

heh

Smiley  you can have a vivid imagination about Slush's situation...Smiley I believe that he has some assistance in the 'boiler room', so that he no longer fixes every hiccup in person

It's just the yacht's satellite internet coverage sucks from Monaco to tweak these things.

Raised a ticket on this, now something is happening on the stats page. 286275 is there after 7:51 hours (with a strange Slush #21935), but the 2 other blocks are still missing.

er a noob here...but i thought 'ties' go to the larger pool (ie talking milliseconds here larger pool more has better odds)....could that be what is going on
big pools have better odds keeping tied blocks (sure seems that way)

likely i know zip just asking if it is skewed in that manner

looking like virtual miners are the only way they can get equip out fast enough to beat difficulty (or so they say)

interesting times....go to school have a life...don't be like us...(ah to be back in college...sigh....)

Yeah but contracting doesn't appear to make sense. You're into a depreciating return which looks to be attractive when taken as a snapshot when signing on.

I've got to think these large mining operations want to keep the incentive to build new systems down unless they also profit from building new systems. The easiest way to do that is to devaluate the currency. A few minor scandals here and there wouldn't hurt to buy them time to mine away while people shy away from investing in new systems due to a perceived low or negative rate of return. The question is do you believe in Bitcoin for the long term and mine something that presently doesn’t appear to make sense. If that's the case then why not simply buy Bitcoin?

I just got paid for that old block.

The others are still missing, but things are starting to move forward.

Slush paid out, and the bitcoin was received by me in mt Bitcoin wallet. I confirm payment received.

Seems like there is another solved block. 286308

Looks like we should have some bitcoin for our accounts, when this gets sorted out.

Yep it would make sense as long as the reward apportionment didn't take a dump.

Clueless!

My desktop has been doing script mining for a few weeks.  Still in college, so I can't afford, and don't have the time to but together a bitcoin mining rig.

Don't feel left out. Lately all your missing is a lighter wallet.

yep even if KNC is legit ...and i get a refund in the future...they still had the use of my $$$$ for like 4 months

so yeah you'd just be waiting with the rest of us and likely find out you just re-coup'd the $$$ w/o any forward movement
at least as far as getting a physical miner is concerned..
