I made the mistake of opening a bunch of tabs then reading each topic, it looked like I stopped browsing for a while.

I think that would be pretty cool, too. As a person studying statistics, is there anyway I could see these stats, so I could compile them into a chart or something?

You need to read faster
If you dont load a new page for about 15 minutes it wont count the time.
Just load some page every 10-14 minutes.
