poor fuckers got arrested to....
http://reason.com/blog/2017/02/03/venezuela-sur[Suspicious link removed]ests-mining

i own a warehouse complex in venezuela, im running almost 70TH in one of the warehouse right now, still have a lot of space free, and yes almost every service here is virtually free including electricity in fact my biggest operative cost is the tax i must pay for own the warehouse and use the land, everything else is just a joke, im currently installing new set of distribution transformers to expand my electric capacity, i can ensure you guys there is no war zone like the news, im located in a industrial city of the country, almost everything around are industrial complex, and production farms, the main issue for me is find good deals on price for the miners, the import cost are well i will say flexible, for example 1 Antminer S4 cost me from miami to my city around 65$ all tax & insurance included by air and is here in around 5-7 days no issue at all with the customs.

That be you in the above photo mate??
Your government are bastards, i wish you all the best for your future!

Just happened...

55nm its a suicide, even with free electricity you still lossing the shippment.

OP youre from poland right? so split the mine between 8 locations and still 50% of the electricity.....

I dont know if somebody will want this miners 0.20$ per gh 0.09$ still be expensive with the s7 on the market.

This is one crazy farm. Never heard of these miners either. Looks like a custom setup.
Guessing they are using Gen1 Bitfury chips ?

yep, 55nm and the boards have pico/100TH/bioinfobank markings

I have an 8-board gen1 bitfury system (september batch) and it was a great miner for the most part. only downside was that its controlled by an RPi and those dont handle power 'blips'/outtages well and often mess up the SD card's operating system or corrupt the actual SD card.

as for the lack of heatsinks, its a good thing. Minimalistic assembly costs, very few parts (just chips in a string design on a sparse PCB) and the resulting product weighs <30% of what it might if there was a metal heatsink

I'd be open to investing in some of this hardware (5-10 BTC worth) if someone was hosting them cheap (looking at you, greatnorthdata)

MegaBigPower, or set up by MBP, the setup actually looks VERY familier and that "100TH" and "Pico" stuff ON the boards is a pretty strong indicator.

Therefore early Bitfury chip based gear.

This is an odd thread to follow and I am sure if someone did make an offer or did buy it wouldn't be public.

Do you guys feel like doing small sales to individuals? I might pick one up to add to my collection, this stuff looks pretty neat.

Somebody offers 4(!) Mines drawing many MW's(!) for Millions of $'s(!) keeping a low profile so far and you ask if they feel like doing small business  Cool

Hey now, it doesn't hurt to ask! That hardware looks pretty cool, and I'd like to see what sort of power efficiency you can squeeze out of it.

Grin I guess it's only a question of seconds until you have PM with the OP offering you a bargain for one of his miners...

@OP: Why don't you put them on ebay, auctioning them off individually, one by one? Wink

We're going to need a bigger heatsink.

Even with cheap power 0.20 USD/Gh price is very expensive.

You cab buy S3+ which has a better efficiency with less than that.

Stable geopolitical situation would be a great benefit. It is easier to send a single miner than sending the whole mine to  Venezuela Smiley

Somewhere I find a topic offering a big place with cheap electricity but location is in Venezuela, OP says he only pay $2 a month for electricity.
Why don't the OP look for this guy, maybe he could give mining a second chance.

Probably that's why: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-08-01/venezuela-increasingly-looks-war-zone

Lol please tell me thats a joke....Chips on their boards don't even have heatsinks...I don't know whats worse.

These are single layer aluminium PCB, which is heatsink itself. The cardboard on one of the images was to send the whole rack ( I cannot imagine using paper to build heatsinks ).
