Your links are broken.
Sorry about that:
http://www.ehow.com/about_5332990_legal-sell-email-list.html

Again ''buying'' and ''selling'' and ''using'' are three different words.
You didn't read my previous post.

''If you sell an email list to someone you know is using it for spam, you might be guilty of conspiracy.'' Thats what your source says.

It's illegal if you send unsolicited  email to those address
This is what i said. I don't see much difference between those two lines.

It's not illegal to have a list of e-mails and sell it. It's illegal if you send unsolicited  email to those address. Before you copy paste some lines from a forum using google, it's better to do a research.

Haha so it's perfectly legal to sell if but it's illegal to buy and use it?
FYI both are illegal but well in any case nobody should buy this, the conclusion is the same.

I never said it's illegal to buy!! I said it's illegal to use it. Learn to read before posting. You are saying ''FYI both are illegal'' give me source so  you can back up your claims?

I can read much better than you, thank you for your concern.
Law varies per country, for example UK's Data Protection Act and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (source).
And if it's illegal to use then buying and selling knowing it will be used for something illegal is illegal too (conspiracy).

Why are you calling this member a scammer?
He is selling email list, not emails with passwords.
I don't see any violation here.
Can anyone explain?
That's what i was thinking. And RodeoX you could edit your post. You don't have to post multiple time in a row?
All sales of list are now being watched here. I'll let them figure out what is legal. And my tripple post was something weird that happened yesterday? Any edit I made led to another post, not sure why.
I just went through the site you reported. Just letting you know US laws don't apply worldwide. And sorry about that edit thing. I am kind of a new to this forum. Didn't know you can't edit in auction section.

Is there any rule on this forum about emails sale?
If yes, please point me there.
You judge too fast.
About post edit in Auctions, it's not possible.

Oh so because he is not selling passwords it is ok to sell a list of emails?

If you are harvesting people's email addresses without their explicit permission for the very purpose which you want to use the email address for then it would be illegal in most countries.

If you got the explicit permission from those people's email address you gather and they know that their email address would be used for whatever purpose it is intended for then it would be okay.

It all boils down to whether the email address owners knows what their email address is used for and if they given full permission or not.
And lets be honest these email owners have no idea what this guy is doing with their mails SO YES ITS ILLEGAL

This is the problem:

It is private method how I got it.

For this to be legal every user would need to agree their information can be sold.
If the seller doesn't even say how he got this list then there's 100% chance he doesn't have that authorization.
