If I am offline when the BTC is received (please check on blockchain.info), please consider the escrow active (and go ahead with shipping etc) when the transaction gets 3 confirmations or more as the escrow address is unique for this transaction.

Please pay and confirm with OP and in this thread after you've done so. I assume that the transfer message will be sent out in waves so that to ease the load on poor friedcat. Note that the escrow fee is paid by the seller here so no fee would be required on the buyer's side.

Thanks,
John

Please state and agree to the conditions (if item is received damaged, item lost with tracking, customs fee etc) beforehand.

If possible, GPG sign your agreement to prevent any discrepancies later on and please ship with tracking to prevent problems during delivery. GPG signing is not a requirement, and any verbal exchange in the form of private messages or posts on bitcointalk.org, or email is effective as a statement of condition.

The fine print:
This Contract is solely generated for the purpose of facilitating the transaction between the seller and the buyer, which refers to the pseudonyms used on bitcointalk.org.
The escrow holder, John, assumes and gives no liability or guarantees on the satisfaction of all parties involved, although he agrees to mediate and facilitate the deal to the fullest extent he is capable of.  On the event that any problems arises, he will release the escrow to whichever party that presents him with the most convincing proof and/or after an open discussion with others or theymos.
The verbal acceptance by both parties (or the failure to reject) and the sending of Bitcoins to the escrow address above constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated, and the activation of this Contract.

Please understand that I am assuming the risk of holding the escrowed Bitcoins, and I am using my own time to facilitate this transaction.
I am imposing a fixed and nonrefundable fee of 1.5% for this transaction, pre-paid to 1NB1KFnFqnP3WSDZQrWV3pfmph5fWRyadz before the start of the escrow.

If I am offline when the BTC is received (please check on blockchain.info), please consider the escrow active (and go ahead with shipping etc) when the transaction gets 3 confirmations or more as the escrow address is unique for this transaction.
Also, please understand that I do not live in the forums, and may need up to 48 hours to release the escrow afterwards after confirmation is received. The average time for escrow releases is within 5 hours after the confirmation.

Thank you.

John (the escrow holder)

Is this an auction thread or an investment advice thread?

It would be an auction thread if the OP was here to close it as it has been more than 4 days. He hasn't been on the forum since Friday though. Roll Eyes

Sure I can.  I just did.  But you're somewhat right, because I forgot how there's absolutely no risk involved in real stocks.

Andy you cannot compare this to a real stock.  In bitcoin world risk of fraud is high, recourse it low, the currency value erratic and the business here is very unique.  Everypne is competing for a piece of the same pie.  As more and more ASICs, which are more and more efficient, flood the market, it gets more doubtful ASICMiner can maintian their percentage of the global hashrate.  The new IPOs and all the new proposed hardware have spooked investors - as they should.

Sure I can.  I just did.  But you're somewhat right, because I forgot how there's absolutely no risk involved in real stocks.  Also, I've heard all of these negative things for months and so far pretty much nothing has changed.  I keep passing go and collecting $200 every month.  Though I do think I got all my shares for under 3BTC.

People finally realised 8% dividends for a year weren't worth it? LOL
Dividend APR is over 30% now, and that's without the sales revenue from this new hardware. Where on earth did you pull 8% from?

^ That's true.

90d    0.32633731   34.63%

And 8% would be a pretty sick yearly dividend anyway.  Am I the only person on here who owns real stocks too?

Those new IPOs are falling apart. (And so apparently is Avalon).

Much BTC has been distracted away by shiny jingly new toys - I even had a brief fling with labcoin myself - but they broke quickly, and investors with sense will be coming home to ASICMiner. Smiley
