Banning Bitcoin in India........... I don't have an exact idea about it. But  I heard about Indian government is planning to regulate bitcoin on its investments. But I'm not bothered about it because it's not a gonna be a barrier for the bitcoin investments.

I live in Russia and we have news in the news that there will be legalization of bitcoins. What they see in this is the future. That there are already a lot of people from the producers of traders and investors. Everything is. Only there is no legalization.

COUNTRIES THAT BANNED BITCOIN

Before we start to our topic this I want to tell that some of you might know about this but I just wanna share this to those who are not.

Several people believe that bitcoin was a blessing and it was an opportunity
for everyone but not everyone shares the sentiment. From central banks and other finance company, Bitcoin's list of detractors runs for a very long time and gone so deep. But most of the government around the world seeks for the regulation of bitcoin.

Be due to fear, ignorance and protectionism, governments have a tendency to legislate against perceived threats.Countries such as japan protects its citizens to have free trade of the digital currency. But unfortunately not all countries embracing the change of our technology. In some cases citizens have had their assets seized, accounts got frozen and have been locked up, Government can't stop the blockchain from propagating, but they can stop their people in having access to it.

STOP THE BITCOIN!!

Like banning drugs, alcohol and other stuffs banning bitcoin sounds nonsensical and unforceable. That's the exact case in five countries:

1.Bangladesh
2.Bolivia
3.Ecuador
4.Kyrgyzstan
5.Nepal

It was recently reported in https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-illegal-in-nepal-police-arrest-seven-individuals-for-trading-operations/
that there were dozens of bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts get imprison seemingly guilty of little more than operating a small-scale bitcoin exchange.

Meanwhile Ecuador has outlawed bitcoin, nit because they opposed this crypto but because they want to regulate and control it and tether it with the Ecuadorian dollar. An Electronic money designed to operate ad support monetary scheme dollarization.Completing the naughty list of countries that have banned bitcoin is Kyrgyzstan, a tiny landlocked state in Central Asia,
And Bangladesh banned bitcoin, it was 2014 where Bangladesh bank stated that anyone that will be caught using such online currency could be jailed mostly because it's about "MONEY LAUNDERING".

this was already an old news for updated list

so what do you think? will your country will ban the use of bitcoin?
do you know other countries that ban the bitcoins?

You can't blame them. They have lived isolated from what it means human rights and decency. This way they want to protect their "dictatorship". Sooner or later they will catch up.

There are specific people, not strange, that prohibit the development of crypto life! I'm sure that soon the situation will change very much, and bitcoin will be solved all over the world! Now we are at the initial stage of development, it is very interesting to observe the war between the banking sector and bitcoin! A new era of money has come!)))

In addition to the countries you added, some members are also posting here that India has banned bitcoins. As per my knowledge that is not true and Indian media did false reporting about that.

Most countries that has banned bitcoin was those strict countries that its government would like to be the top of all economic related transactions that could generate taxes and other profits for the sake of the economy. And another factor is that the usage of cryptocurrency for crime purposes.

They can ban it for sometimes and can stop the usage of bitcoin in their country but the people will still find a way to obtain and trade this on the internet and. Some country that are trying to ban it is skeptical about cryptocurrency and doesn't permitted their people to use it on buying, selling or for their service.

Well, Bitcoin is not all my life, I only consider it as a great opportunity to make money. So if my government (France) would chose to ban Bitcoin, that wouldn't be the end of my world.

To OP no one can stop us from using bitcoin because it was decentralized but they can restrict us from buying and selling the bitcoins so we need to stop converting our crypto to fiat anymore then the banning has no effect on it.But those 5 listed countries on OP is not big populated country or more developed country so none of the other country will follow them.

crypto currencies may be banned in some countries,
But obtaining bitcoins will be still possible. In this way, users who know how to trade
cryptocurrencies and wish to do it without any intermediaries, may continue to do so.

Buying bitcoins through globally qualified websites will also remain posible.
However, if the regulations of your country are strict enough,
the country could end up blocking access to these internet sites, making it difficult to buy/sell bitcoins.

If this were to happen, the option that you could have is to use the help of intermediaries
in other countries in order to buy cryptocurrency through them.

Here are some countries to keep an eye on though when planning your next trip abroad.First country that banned bitcoin that is :
1. Morocco
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency transactions were officially outlawed in Morocco in November 2017.Sending and receiving payments via any cryptocurrency in Morocco is punishable by fines.

2.Bolivia
Cryptocurrencies have never been legal in Bolivia and the government has been known to enforce its anti-Bitcoin stance rather firmly. People caught using Bitcoin and other cryptocoins can be fined and a number of users have even been arrested on more than one occasion for trading and mining Bitcoin.

3. Ecuador
Ecuador outlawed Bitcoin and other cryptocoins in mid-2014 as part of its financial reform plans. The ban on Bitcoin was seen by many as a way to reduce competition with the country's own digital currency system (Sistema de Dinero Electrónico). It's simply a digital money solution based on traditional money and valued after the American dollar.

4.China
The trading of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies was banned in China in September 2017.But the change in law hasn't ceased its use completely and many Chinese people continue to trade cryptocoins via in-person trades and chat apps like Telegram and WeChat.

5. Nepal
Nepal's stance on many aspects of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a little ambiguous however it has been confirmed that the trading of Bitcoin is considered illegal following several arrests of Bitcoin traders in 2017 that resulted in a combination of fines and jail terms for those involved

In my country, we haven't banned bitcoin yet nor any regulations are being conducted. So safe to say that our government has this "I dont care" yet mentality towards crypto currency(I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing yet). However, what I found alarming in my country is that there are several cases wherein banks are asking where did you money came from after the recent bitcoin ATH last December. I have heard stories that bank personnel's question the person who widraw the funds then after they knew it was from a crypto wallet to wallet transaction he was subject for questioning.

Don't care too much about government decisions. That depends on point of views of governments. In the truth, no government is taking right decisions in all the time. It,s very important but government nothing to know this site..we make a bitcoin in our work.so government tell we are nothing to say..  some small countries like in Asia, although there are many factors that cause the ban..

In Bangladesh, Bolivia, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, China, Ecuador and Iceland in the film "What is Iceland doing here?" In one of the most liberal countries in the world, bitcoin was slightly offended by the law forbidding the national currency, the Icelandic krona, to leave the country. Therefore, until March 2017, the descendants of the Vikings were forbidden to trade in pairs bitcoin / Iceland krone. However, in April 2017 the Icelandic Central Bank allowed citizens to work freely with the crypto currency.

Five countries are banning this digital crypto currency. Almost all countries of the world are moving forward through digital technology without 5 countries. I am a Bangladeshi citizen, our government is trying to introduce Bitcoin. I hope that our government will arrange to introduce Bitcoin very soon. Then our country will move forward with other countries.
