Brave is good. Very lite not heavy ram eater.

They also have a TOR version if you want to, recommended!

Well, DuckDuckGo is my favorite browser. Of course, results are completely different from google (if you search using duckduckgo search engine too). However, I don't usually mind about the search engine, the main thing for me is my privacy. If I need additional protection, I just turn on VPN.

We all need Privacy for our activities online but sadly Privacy has become a myth. Every browser claims, privacy is their priority but actually which of those truely are privacy friendly.

Since we are always on the go and use our mobile phones a lot for browsing, In my opinion these are the 5 best browser that mean privacy.

1. Brave
2. Duckduckgo
3. Tor
4. Epic
5. Firefox focus

All of the above listed are available on Google Play Store, download anyone of them and you will be able to browse the internet privately.

As I understood from the comments below, since most members are not aware that DuckDuckgo has a browser for Android here is the link for you to download - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duckduckgo.mobile.android

Brave, Firefox and Web browser & Explorer are still on the top of my list. Very user friendly with less ads.

I have heard of those browsers before but I am not trying those yet. So far I do not encounter any bad things or privacy issues using my regulars browsers so I stick to it.

I think this is the best browser from the list. Work so smoothly
IMHO, firefox is not a completely anonymous browser because they need our cookies which traces all of our data.Tor is the browser which is completely anonymous that is the reason why it is very slow on loading the pages because it keep changing the server too often.

So if you think it is crap then please use chrome to get royally screwed and forget privacy.

Yes, sir.

Duckduckgo is not good enough as a search engine. End of. If I ran my life through it I would still have to refer to better ones to make sure it was giving me the results I needed because its results do not deliver. You can seek out privacy and still acknowledge when something isn't good enough.

Please don't hurt me.

I am not talking here about the search engine, in fact, I am discussing the web browser that DuckDuckgo offers to its android users.

I am still baffled by your statement which is about their search engine, as I never discussed it. If you have an issue about the DuckDuckgo browser then reply otherwise I think you are completely confused.

Please do not respond with SIR! as I am not.

Thanks.

Osiris browser also offers privacy to its users, currently, the browser is still available in beta. This browser also offers ads-free for users. Unfortunately, the mobile version is still not available in private browsing that may be needed by users. Maybe someone wants to try, please visit their sites.

I am not a representative of Osiris, if you have questions please contact the developer. Or maybe someone wants to review, of course, this will be better.

DYOR/DWYOR

A nice suggestion by you I have used Osiris browser and it is good but it is still in the development mode and that is why I have not recommended it. There are many issues with this browser as it does not load fast and the worst is, it is not available for android users.

Mobile browsers is the next big thing.

They are all excellent browsers except maybe brave(that uses redirects) that offer a good dose of privacy but I would add to the list chromium with its private tabs and my favorite pair of torfox with orbot

Afaik DuckDuckGo isn't browser, but search engine. Or perhaps i might be wrong?

You are incorrect, here it is - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duckduckgo.mobile.android&hl=en_GB

And it's open source too. I gotta say duckduckgo's search is still crap in my opinion and I would never use it for regular use but perhaps the more use it gets the better it'll be.

So if you think it is crap then please use chrome to get royally screwed and forget privacy. Those who use android are buch the bunch of individuals who I am sorry to say but get tracked when they shit too.

I am against the brave browser. Because they have many complaints already. And I did not try yet the epic browser, even I don't know there is a browser name epic before today. But I have used tor and the duckduckgo browser. I have a good experience with it.

Between tor and duckduckgo I guess duckduckgo is more user-friendly than tor. But yes tor browser will give you better privacy. So my suggestion when will fill bored by using tor due to low speed, you can try duckduckgo for a while hope you will feel relaxed.

I used to like Brave and sometimes recommend it, until their recent controversy. Right now, simply using the default Firefox browser, added with some privacy plugins like HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock Origin will honestly suffice.

When I used Tor browser, the default search engine is duckduckgo and it is really crappy. The search results have never satisfied my search requests. The bad and crappy search engine forces me to use other browser when I need to search for something. That is inconvenient when using Tor browser.

Brave browser, I don't like that but probably the others do because it brings some passive income for them (with mandatory KYC that I disagree with). Brave browser has gradually slid out from its initial slogan. Privacy with Brave browser, no.

How the hell does Brave browser appear in number 1, It should be the last give the recent developments.
Tor on a mobile phone is quite tricky but it's far much better than most privacy based browsers.
so for me it's
1. Tor
2. Duckduckgo
-----
5. Brave

I have never used Firefox focus and Epic yet. I will check them out.

Well, DuckDuckGo search engine isn't verygood probably because they don't collect that much information about their users as Google does. While Google knows qlmost everything about us what helps them to make such good working search engine.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
I have exprience using all of those browser except Epic.
I've found some negative feedback against epic. And
Firefox is good for mobile, but I've expriance "Full black Screen" problem in desktop.

I have good experience using firefox on desktop than using their mobile app, Idk but I don't feel like using ff on mobile, but after with this issue of brave I think I need to be used to it since duckduckgo has the ability for privacy but using its search is meee I'll stay still on google instead.

@Asuspawer09, as they say: "everything comes with a price".
However, it's possible to bypass Capcha by using your unique code to loggin. You can get it from here:
https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php
bookmarck it and use it whenever you need to loggin without having to solve the Captcha.
You can read more about this feature here:

Only Tor browser from this list can be considered as privacy browser.
Only downside is slower speed, and some websites maybe don't work like in normal browsers,
but using Android and expecting some privacy is contradictory anyway.

@Asuspawer09, using Chrome or any other service Google provides isn't really the wisest move if you value your privacy. I wouldn't recommend it.
Regarding brave, read the article gentlemand referred to and you will know why you shouldn't use it (they were using their referral links when redirecting users!).
Didn't use the other browsers yet but what I would recommend is using Tor over vpn.

Appreciate it, if only TOR doesn't make the connection I would not stop using it.

I was annoyed logging-in here in the forum, especially when using TOR since you need to log-in every time you open the website. Also, captcha is a nightmare if you have a slow internet connection.

I would still use TOR if I have secured and fast connection on my personal computer.

People doesn't seem to like brave browser in terms of privacy. I would recommend using TOR. Duckduckgo is also a good browser. I use it most of the time.

I only use google chrome because it just feels a bit fast than the other browsers like Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc. And I just download the Brave browser because I read a lot of good feedback here in the forum.

I've been using it for almost a week even in my android device so far it did a really good job, and it just links in a lot of cryptocurrencies so I feel like using it.

What could really be the advantage of the brave browser compared to the other browsers?

IMHO, TOR seems the only trusted privacy browser all others will be tracking at some way, but using TOR for everyday usage will get you annoyed due to slow loading pages compared to other browsers so choose browsers depends on you needs.

I am currently using chroimum which isn't a privacy browser but there is not much thing to collect from my browsing history, when I wanted to do something which needs privacy I connect to the TOR on desktop or android.

Brave have jumped the shark - https://decrypt.co/31522/crypto-brave-browser-redirect   so if you care about that type of thing they're probably best to be left off the list.

I kind of assumed properly private browsing would be impossible on a phone. If the browser itself does the job, the phone might be happily sending everything to some creepy men who live inside a hollowed out mountain.

But doing what you can is still helpful and don't forget VPNs, proper ones, especially if you use public wifi.
