The post go fast it is the 4 hours that drags on. it was really 8 hours for me because I would walk away thinking it was still logging my time. If you get to the point you have 4 hours posted and you are still stuck contact badbear he will unblock you

I though I was clear either post or replies they both count. You have a post count under your name when that says 5

ha ya it is post or replies. it makes no difference. and 4 hours actively logged on you cant just leave it open you have to be moving around for it to count your time logged in

Hoping 5 replies is the same thing as 5 posts...
The most important part is that you have to be active for at least 4h. I do not think that Administrators are 'not so clever' 
to force every NEW USER to create a new topic - that would be a mess! But who knows
