That's how you earn credit. Why I didn't guess that Huh

AFAIK you can send "only" 50 merit max to one person/month so this should be an April fool inside an April fool  Wink.

Sometimes humans do not think well what is done for the future, good or bad, always put forward Lust without thinking of the effects that will occur that is human.

Example:
What is happening now, (Merit), which is done by the account in question, the sender and recipient, if both problems can be banned, finally both of them cannot cross the forum again, this is the risk of misusing Merit.

This incident is an example for the future, no exception, whether I or the others, give (sMerit), to those who have the right to receive and who are eligible.

How to know if a sender is a merit source, just curious.
There is no official list on the forum but a good indication is that the user has distributed more merits than he has earned. Take a look at the picture i uploaded below. I will not advertise the name but check the numbers. Has given 3937 merits, Has received 897 merit.

That's very helpful, that account is clearly a merit source, can't give 3,000+ merits when he only received 800+ merits.
I'm familiar with that program but never use it to analyze in knowing the merit source.

THANKS.

A possible abuse of merit, the giver is not active in the forum and barely post.
I thought at first glance it was a mistake but when I checked his post history, it made me think it was intentional, but I could be wrong.

I'm just wondering if some are selling merit, how much would it cost per merit.
I'm sure a legendary must have at least 100 spendable Smerit.

However sender isn't merit source, he sending merit from airdrop merit. So let him do it. At least merit will spread all over forum.

Strange! Its look clear abuse in my eye. This thread should move on "Reputation" board. That post mentioned by OP really even didn't deserve single merit. But unfortunately they have got huge merit. I think they are connected account somehow. The problem is admin isn't encourage to tag merit abuser.

I think it is time to destroy the airdropped sMerits. They were the most abused one. User who earned merits are most logical in distributing them but these free sMerits is getting used in abuse.

The merits originate from the same banned accounts:

saulzaents  https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=saulzaents

mstfprcn https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=mstfprcn

srmecdes https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=srmecdes

krhnrhn https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=krhnrhn

There are still some accounts that are clearly related that are not banned. Could be a good account farm to untangle on a rainy day.

Look at this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50363129
That post received almost 40 merits at the low-quality post and this one looks suspicious compared to the OP.

Check the Taki's sent merit history.

As the Pharmacist said, look for recent users who receive a large amount of merits they might be newbies wanted to rank up fast or high-rank member who wants to have merit because some signature campaign requires merit every 120 days more/less.

You can use this link below from time to time to monitor who sent merit so that you can find those fraudulent user.

These two transactions though appears to be merit trading/abusing. The recipient of both is YumukluSucurta. He received 100 merits in the span of 10 minutes (September 18th) from Bitcocoin and easyboy (likely his alts).

That was on the start of Merit I see not a big problem on this case. Accounts are inactive or legendary and not bounty spammers.

Merit sent by 1369 from January 24, 2018 until March 29, 2019 (source)

And they still have newbie ranks!
That was during the old days when merit did not really matter, i think as time goes by people will start to understand the importance of "how" they spend their merit.
Exactly.  I don't think newbies realize how new and different the merit system was when it was introduced.  There were a lot of people giving out massive amounts of merit for posts that nowadays probably wouldn't earn any.  I don't hold anything against the member mentioned in the OP, as it was February 2018--right after the start of the merit system.  Yeah, looking back at it from today's perspective that post was certainly not worth 50 merits.  It wasn't worth any merits IMO, but times have changed.

OP, if you look hard enough you could find many more examples like that from early 2018.  Don't bother, though.

I guess here is the point of merit trading. Probably sell-buy deel was maid on social networks or alike. But I also do not understand why exactly those posts, couldn't they find something better?! It's just ridiculous!
