the STE you find on regular exchanges will only receive 80% of the dividend distribution as opposed to the full 100% the STE tokens that have never been sold receive. i'd steer clear of purchasing STE any other places than https://stex.exchange/stewhitelist or maybe in the STE shop when they launch that on the STeX EXCHANGE.

You mean it's an extra token. There's STE and more recently also A2A.

STE = Security token, will receive dividends [ STE Whitelist ]
A2A = Utility token, STeX A2A ICO scheduled to April, 5 2018 05:00 GMT

and just the Alpha release ofc, so there will be a lot of testing taking place so they can eventually work up to a Beta release. everything so far however is going according to schedule which is good to see.
