I think The number you've stated is too high.These numbers were used to publicize the topic.Probably there are deaths from snake bites. It is very difficult to see real statistics for all countries, especially India.Generally I hate snakes

I'm not sure if governments can really make a change. They could start some campaigns for awareness and teach people how to protect themselves, but that's about it. In the regions of the world where there are a lot of snakes people should be more careful, but that doesn't actually solve the problem either.

I hate snakes to the extent that i really want to kill them and make them go to "whatdef##K" land they came from...No wonder it's written in the bible that man hates snakes...I know most animals have pity on children. Yeah, that's true, but it does not mean it's less sad. In this day and age dying of a snake bite is just wrong. Governments should take better care of their people. Health care and prevention of this kind of things should be a priority.
