Why I cant change settings for the same card sapphire 5600XT pulse? I cant undervolt with overdriveN tool as you can.
Does your video card have an original BIOS?
Try try another version OverdriveNTool 0.2.9
In this mode, the video card consumes 90-95 watts
You can also try another program AMD.Memory.Tweak.XL

Thanks!. I was able to use SPPT to undervolt a bit more my GPU. Now I am at 743 mv.

Looking for a good set of values for my Sapphire 5600XT Pulse  Smiley

With MorePowerTool you can decraese the core voltage below 800mv (at least for 5700, for 5600 should be the same).

Thanks. I tried MorePowerTool. I have it installed at rig. But I can't do anything with it. It recognises the 5600XT card, but all options are grayed, disabled. I think is not compatible with 5600XT, only with 5700XT, but not sure (maybe I am not able to use it properly).

Just load your 5600 BIOS into MorePowerTool and it will became active.

my results ...

I see you undervolt core to 680mv. The lowest I can uv in windows 10 with my MSI 5600xt MECH is 800mv. Did you flash your bios with lower voltage limit? Or is it stock?

Very strange, the lowest Windows allows me to undervolt is to 800mv, but I can get 700mv in Hive OS. This is all with stock bios as 5600xt bios cannot be modded, you can try it and in windows you get an error and you also get an error in hive OS (5700xt easy to bios mod)

Maybe that program OverDriveNTool bypasses the 800mv windows limit somehow, I might try that

Also WTF is up with these 5600xt hashrates? This pic shows 42.75mhs at 1850mem clock, yet I can only hit 40.5mhs at 1860mem clock (core doesn't make a difference for me)

Hi

@jsanzsp ¿Amd version drivers, please? I cant get your results. More in line with @Truthchunter.

I have a Sapphire Pulse 5600XT purchased a few days ago. AMD drivers 20.8.1. Windows 10.

Main problem is OverdriveNTool 0.2.9 cant change GPU core voltage. No way. I can push up mem frec to 1860 (as Truthchunter, 40.5 MHs, no more). But using "power limit" (-38) i can decrease GPU mvolts to 800. Again as Truthchunter.

This means i get 95w-99w for the 5600XT at software level (not at the wall). This is far from 680 mv... 75w.

@jsanzsp may you help us?

switched to hiveos, was able to lower it to 650mv. core 1100 mem 1880. stock bios and getting 41mhs. Much better in linux than windows. And because of lower voltage, the gddr6 memory runs a lot cooler, ~85c, which allows me to push the mem clock higher. In windows, I can only do 1780 stable @  measly 38-39mhs.

Sofar I've only heard of people able to change lowest possible voltages in bios but not clocks or straps.

Hi.
Has anyone tried mining with Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT BE? https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer/pulse-radeon-rx-5600-xt-be-6g-gddr6
Compared to regular Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT, BE version have lower boost clock and no Quick Connect Fan / Dual BIOS.
I am planning to build a rig with 6x RX 5600XT and this Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT BE is the cheapest one I could find in my country.
Which one would you recommend to buy?
why don't you wait and buy 3080 NVIDIA?

RTX 3080 will cost 2,5x more than RX 5600XT and I doubt it will give 2,5x higher hashrate and have better power consumption.
I will consider it when someone test it.

Only way to mod RX 5600XT i have been successful by modding  same manufacturer bios on it but different series.
Some bios are slower then others for RX 5600XT
On sapphire pulse which was stock bios max hash was 40mh , then used Sapphire pulse BE bios and got the hash up to 43mh/s
Like the timings editing really doe not work, it bricks the bios. It makes me think that we need different tools for editing.

Is it safe to flash the gpu BIOS with the BIOS of another model?

I think the BE also has not as robust cooling. Might be worth the extra cost for the better cooling on the non-BE version.

Have you tried to modify RX5600XT BIOS memory timing ?

No, this was my friend's GPU, I didn't try to modifiy the timings.
