Just a bit of research here. What are the things that bitcoin introduced us to? Is there any?

It opened the door for a new "Golden Era" in digital currency. Hehe

What Golden era are you talking about?

The The Golden Era of Innovation, sending ad receiving money without paying to any third party and there's still more to come.

and why 6, not 4 or 10? Because of the 6 confirmations people say we need to "confirm" a transaction?

Better anonymity, almost no fees, faster transactions, peer to peer transactions so no 3rd party etc etc...find the white paper. 

You pretty much summarize the benefits of bitcoin. Smiley

Its a safe haven for big players who make a lot of money, since they can buy all the btc and cash it out when they please.

I suggest you to go read white paper. All changed a bit, but basically is still the same.
