They could just have useless hardware and their software really connects to a botnet until thry decide to turn it off lol

Maybe they use the 15K to buy a bunch of btc, and while their software pretends to mine they send you a few every once in a while to make you think it's working... just long enough to sucker other people into buying, then they disappear  Grin

I emailed the company and asked if I could pick it up locally. They said yes, the only problem is that I'm in the U.S. lol.

Hmmmm. Local pickup means local pay usually... I would NOT like to pay or to be paid with Paypal if someone came with 10K$ in cheque or cash

the 10 k border is new for me O.o i dont know ( nobody use paypal normaly ^^ )

Moneybookers doesnt safe your order because you must pay manulally if you order you get linked to skrill for payment but it isnt the same ...

looks like a clever scam ?
Anybody would to risk ? i can spend 2 k if we collect some ? buy ticket and pick it up or get shooted by libanisch mafia Cheesy

Why is anyone even contemplating this absurdity?!!

what if not ? http://tpbitcalc.appspot.com/ there was a little bit more then 1,2 month for ROI  ...
http://butterflylabs.com/ where is the different ?

if we safe the money and proof thats works ?

Let's not start this again, ref: Cedartec

Yes agree ...

I think the idea is they wait for a single sale, then they disappear into the sunset. $15,000 is a pretty big take, especially in that part of the world...

Perhaps, but as a buyer buying an experimental certain scam, say he provides the most convincing scpheel ever, or you're just plain dumb (sorry many are here, so I can't rule that out) and you get home to discover your mining unit doesn't work because it's not a miner. What recourse do you have when you head back and discover your seller has vanished and no one there has heard of him, along with your cash??

Do not pay anonymous entities in anonymous currencies cash or BTC for unproven products, capiche?

They have apparently also been selling, wait for it; 'Discount Vouchers' for these miners and have 100% feedback on the three they have reputedly sold.

So, they have been selling non-existent discount vouchers for non-existent hardware. These guys are good haha, actually their scam site is better than most;

http://anamurminers.com/index.php?route=common/home

Bizarrely their 50gh/s is more expensive than their 63gh/s!? Go figure...

This is brilliant, the seller is in the Czech Republic, so am I, I'm gunna email him and ask if he will allow me to do a local pick up and see what he says.   Wink Wink Wink Wink

My guess is his response will be akin to:

"Sorry, I need take flight tomorrow so no can give but shipping company know how ship just trust ok??"
