Just saw this movie last night and i surprisingly enjoyed it. Somewhat similar to the hangover though a little toned down in comedy. Makes you think about the stakes high rollers play with and how far these people will go when you have millions on the line. Its also nice to know that the idea came from the actor's real life bet. Enjoyable movie and you'll really want to stick around to see how it'll end.

You are right, in real life, there are people who are like that, that can go beyond what they are if they are talking about what is at stake on the table.
The good thing about this movie is the support of his family and friends to his goal.
In reality, very few families are supporting gamblers as we know.
It was an okay movie, yeah, but like most movies it doesn't really depict the real gambling life for most people. But I guess Vegas is different, different from everywhere else in the world. The casinos I see are so not fun and zero young people;)
The only movie with a reality personal ending is The Gambler,,, but the settings were all also hollywood and fake though!
