I will go to some free airdrops, even if the tokens are not worth the money, I think there is no loss.

That's a fairly bad mentality in my opinion... Participating in airdrops costs time, which you could've spent on more useful/profitable things...

According to what you've just said, faucets are perfectly worth it: There's no loss!
However, they usually give less than 1 cent worth of crypto per claim and you have to waste a lot of time watching ads & clicking the claim button.

That's the reason for which I prefer to participate in Bounty Campaigns of projects I like and ignore most airdrops. They're simply not worth my time.

Now you may be lucky occasionally, catching an airdrop that does make you some profit, but I find them (unsurprisingly) quite rare.

True. I used to hunt for airdrops and got like 3 good airdrops. they make up for waste airdrops though.

yes, we know that at this time airdrop has requirements that are quite complicated and sometimes not in line with our expectations.
but we must remember that there are many great projects that are only born from the airstrip and we are very lucky if today we can find it again.

These are helpful tips, and I know that if a lot of us airdrop hunters follow these tips, we would always get our rewards, unless of course it is another scam project. Basically, just make sure that you complete the airdrop tasks, and you submit your details correctly, and ensure you stay on their platforms until the tokens are distributed.

The problem with airdrops lately is that many of them not distribute the tokens on time or ever, and the number of airdroped
tokens is so low that it hardly covers the transaction costs. It is like killing an ox for a kg of meat.

I'm ready to add!  Grin The most important tip #8-never participate in airdrops, because you will lose your time and get a meager payment, if you get paid at all. You're just wasting your time!

Some airdrops do come with a lot of value just to become the community member of the project and without doing anymore tasks but recently most of the airdrops have proven to be valueless, maybe there are way too many airdrop campaigns now and the good ones have just become hard to find.

Well, some airdrops are legally okay in terms of paying and having a good profit while others not because they are scammed. They steal information that can be used for evil worked.

I avoid all these airdrops because there are useless out of more than 30 airdrops I've participated in only two airdrops coins has given me a good income sometimes these airdrops are very strict, they even ask for vital and personal information to participants, as if they are holding a token sale.
30 airdrops are not enough, you have to participate in hundreds airdrops to make a decision. Most of aidrops are not real, they only want to collect your personal data and that is all Wink.

Well airdrop are good ways to earn extra cash with your time but in as much we truly need to becarful when doing that in other for you data not to be compromise just as the poster have said. Airdrop have advantage for the both side the participant's and the owners of the project while the participants in airdrop get token without direct investment the team get they products advertised to the general public by the participants.

people who say that it's harmless to join every airdrop even if they are sure it's totally a scam , think again !
now it's the easiest way to collect free and valuable data is to make fake airdrop , stop looking blindly for free money . there are even more greedy airdrops that require KYC and people still fall for this and then complain about fraud !!

Bitcoin Garden: 7 tips for participating in the airdrops
https://bitcoingarden.org/7-tips-for-participating-in-the-airdrops/

By now, if you have any interest in the cryptocurrency, you have probably heard about the airdrops. And maybe you have participated in one of them. But, for those of you who still doesn’t know what crypto airdrops are, the answer is simple. Airdrops are free tokens. Simple as that. Wait, no way, there is no free lunch, it must be some catch! Why would they give away tokens for free? Well they aren’t giving them for free exactly. Blockchain projects expects some actions from the users in order to drop them free tokens. Those actions are usually to join Telegram groups, follow or retweet on Twitter or like Facebook page. That’s are one time actions and you will get free tokens. Bounties are similar, but they are a bit different and harder. Users have to do some promotional actions on forums or social networks during some period of time. Each action is reported and you will get your tokens depending of how many actions you have done. Now you can see that airdrops and bounties are in fact just promotional tool for blockchain projects, and they are effective one. It is no wonder why they are so popular.

Even if you are not investing your money in order to participate in the airdrops, you are investing your time and you are sharing your personal data, so it is very important to be very careful. Here are some practical tips how to safely participate in the airdrops in order to be sure that your personal information will not be compromised. And, to be sure that you time will not be wasted and that you will be dropped your earned tokens....

You loose your time, most valuable thing on the planet. Hopefully some airdrops are worth a bit of $ to cover the effort...

Most of the airdrops turned into "filling the form and robbing participant informations" thing

I don't trust most of them any more

Thank you for your useful tips, but still it depends on airdrops which you are participating.
If some airdrop decides not to pay airdrop participants - you can not do anything about it.

Airdrops are a great way for a project to promote itself. You will normally be asked to reciprocate in some way such as wearing their signature on your Bitcointalk profile when posting but this is not difficult. The projects will premine their coins and use this method of distribution instead of selling the coins at ico. One of the more famous coins that went down this route is Bitcoin Cash that forked off Bitcoin and distributed on a 1 for 1 basis to all holders of Bitcoin.
