IDK. I have seen skrill pretty freely accepted by a lot of people so I would think that it is at least somewhat safe to accept. I even see that maidak accepts skrill for payment when buying bitcoin and I assume that he knows how to properly protect himself.

I am not endorsing the OP or saying that no problems can/will when accepting skrill, just that it seems to be somewhat accepted on here.

BUT if funds come from a creditcard and the transaction to skrill is reversed I am sure skrill is not going to pay this...

I'm just mentioning you should be careful since it's a large amount. But indeed everything could be fine but that's far from sure from the information we get now. Maidak probably knows more about it.
