Until the end
I would make the case and the motherboards available separately AND as a package.  You would get more buy-in that way.  I'd be willing to pay $199 or less for the Motherboard alone.  Any higher and I would have to stick to my current setup.

Price aside, I would think there would be an insane amount of interest around this.

Hi Everyone! Some of you may know me or have done business with me under the name Sequoia93. I am here today to share a mining motherboard and case solution I have developed after being frustrated by the lack of available options. The intent of this post is to gauge interest in the product as well as to open the design to feedback before it is finalized.

The motherboard is an extended length with:
8 PCIE slots
1 LGA 1151 CPU Socket
1 m.2 slot
1 mSATA slot
2 DDR4 SO-DIMM slots
6 six-pin power inputs
2 USB ports
1 Integrated HDMI
1 Ethernet Port
1 Physical power button built board (pin headers still available)

Below is a photo of an early-production run. The final design may differ slightly.

The case is similar to others on the market. It has ample space for various models of GPUs and can contain a server PSU as well.

If anyone has any feedback it would be appreciated, and if anyone is interested in ordering multiple units, feel free to pm me. I will not make a statement on delivery timeline or price until I am more confident in that answer myself.

Thanks and Happy Mining!

This is a cool project nice sequoia. Interested to see how the case turns out

I would like to see more spacing of the gpu slot cards. They are almost touching oce GPU is installed,  so would be nice of they had some extra spacing

Okay  I do not want to take from the op

but here goes it has worked well running  evga 1070 ti hybrids  I want it to run  eight evga 1070 ti hybrids.

I got my 7th one today.  the build is open case.

the board has 7x  6 pin pcies in

the board has 13  6 pin pcies out

it is a great board to run 1070's  that have 1 pcie jack
it is a great board to run 1060's that have   1 pcie jack.

op has a good case idea for farms

not homes.

if he sold me a case I would want 8 of these cards in it

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-5670-KR  set to 130 watts tdp
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-5170-KR  set to 120 watts tdp

case would pull   1000 watts dc  for  1070
case would pull   1100 watts dc  for  1070 ti

it has 7 jacks in  so 1100/7 =  157 watts a wire

if you   have a server psu  you could feed 7 input jacks

don't use the output jacks  use 8 cables to the   8 cards from the same internal psu.

that lowers draw on the 7 jacks in.

I linked blower style   cards  for a reason

combined with the 6 case fans  they would work well to cool the case.

I don't think this would ever be a quiet case  but in a warehouse  on in my solar array loft it would be good.

I would definitely buy one of these boards for testing reason. Somebody know where can I buy them?

I am interested in this too. Any clues to share?

Looks interesting but distance between GPUs are too small. Only 6 centimeters between PCI-e sockets. Temperatures in the case will be very high unless to use very strong fans but the noise will be very high. Need some tests of this hardware

Don't understand what is the point to put on the motherboard the additional power connectors if they are on the GPU. Can you explain to me this? It seems to me that you are paying attention to aesthetic appearance and it does not take into account functionality and price.

I have that mobo  running

 six nvidia  1070ti  hybrid  6 x 120 watts
one nvidia  1070    hybrid  1 x 100 watts
one nvidia  1080 ti hybrid  1 x 200 watts

about 1100 watts

I use a 16gb ram stick
and I use an intel i5 6400t cpu

It is a decent board  I sourced it on Alibaba

I prefer the odna b2500 board

but  I am not doing closed case setups  mine are all waterblock open case  they are quiet.

this design looks very good for a big farm where noise does not matter.

Hi philip would you still be able to share a link to that motherboard on alibaba for me? I can't seem to find an onda b2500 or even a b1800 anymore. Tried using google search and directly from alibaba and aliexpress website.

That is a nice build you got there. Never tried waterblocks yet probably because they are too expensive. Any other benefits aside from noise reduction and cooling? Are you able to overclock more because of waterblocks?

I think this but I also like the thought my my equipment having some value after i'm done mining. Currently my GPUs have gained value and I could sell everything else for 50%-75% of what i paid.

This mobo has almost zero function other than mining.

so with all that said, it would have to be $100-$150 for me to buy

Damn. That is one sexy 8GPU motherboard. Any updates on this?
Would definitely get more than one for the right price, and if seller is legit.

Would you do escrow and do you ship internationally to asia? If our deal goes smooth I believe I can get you a market. My local crypto scene is booming right now.

It is GPU mining profitable as of now, I found that many people invested in the ASIC miner only to have the more profit. Still if you are looking to invest in the gpu rig and cards purchases to mine the coins.
You should have the escrow in your trade like sebastian or lutpin to have best and secured trade in your purchase.

Interested. How much will it cost?

For prebuilt, I'm okay with paying a small premium if it's prebuilt like the photos.

Will this be cheaper than Colorful's C.B250A-BTC PLUS V20 and C.J1900A-BTC PLUS V20 boards?

Price has not been determined yet but it will be competitive  Smiley

I'll keep the pre-built comment in mind!
