A day without a buzz is like a day that never was
I donot know much about mining. Great job.
But,next when attaching pictures, use ctrl + stamp on keyboard to take snapshop, and paste on paint. open file cut/trim using the re-cutting tool =>option on paint.Re-size your pic to reasonable size. it will help your photo to be presentable instead of uploading foto with sexy lap on right & left corner

Thanks

If you only run 80 machines, I just cant see companies partnering with such a tiny commercial operation for anything.

80 machines won't draw any attention. I've enjoyed the pictures and updates,  but buying s7's right now isn't a good idea. Unless they have phenomenally low power costs. Even with cheap power you are better off waiting for the s9.

Edit.. At 9.8 per kw at current price and difficulty you won't make any money after halving in July.

When do you think the S9 will come out, and how much more efficient do you think it will be? These new 2.7 TH S7s that just came out are just as efficient as the old 4.7 TH ones except they come with a power supply, which is huge.

Based off of rumors and bitmains Chinese website. It's 14TH.  Not sure how many watts or  the price. I'm guessing it will be released soon.

jesus, 14th.  see i am thinking closer to 10.  14 would be SO beast, wish they would drop more info already...

I'm anxiously awaiting news. I think the days of the s7 are coming to a end. Unless we see a substantial btc price increase, the s7 won't be worth it after halving.

It all depends, who knows really. I think the best advice now is to wait just a month for the halving, see what happens to the difficulty, see what happens to the price, see if the S9 is announced, then go ahead and decide if it's profitable - or how profitable exactly - investing in mining will be. That's what I'm doing at least, seems to be the best course of action.

Currently Building a major rig for our main pool.

Rig 80 Ant pool Rig Hash_Rate 4.8 TH

Here are some Commercial Site Pix during Construction.

220v Triple Phase Elec. 10.7 k/w

Capacity:

1 Megawatt Town Commercial License

Ill Post Hash Rate Total after Final Testing
bittech

Out of curiosity isn't 1 Megawatt extremely overkill? Even if you went up to the 80% rule wouldn't that still be 800 kW of power? The S7 puts out 1.3 kW which means your facility would be able to hold a quarter of a million dollars in S7's, literally hundreds and hundreds of them. Do you plan on expanding that much? I don't know what your budget is like, but I would consider waiting for the S9 if you were to expand so rapidly. It's what I plan on doing when I put some money into renting a small warehouse for mining probably after the dust settles from the halving and we can see what things are like. Thanks!

Yeah tell me about it. I'm currently saving up funds to start my operation, I should have the funds I want around the time the S9 drops. By then maybe the dust will have settled from the halving, all should be good. Until then I'm just playing with Ethereum mining, awesome profits there too you should check it out.

Yeah it only makes sense that it will be coming out soon. At 14TH the thing is going to be a beast, I can't wait. Not sure if they'll wait for the halving or not. My guess is that they'll wait and see what happens, then release it and adjust it's price accordingly.

I wish I had the funds to start an operation on that scale. I'll likely have to start much smaller, maybe 20 machines.

My electricity rate wouldn't be super low either, right around where yours is at ~10c, but even at that there are such profits to be made! Good luck and keep us updated!

what horrible timing to start a bitcoin mining farm..

you do know you have about 70 days left before the block reward halving making all those miners useless?

Well, not exactly. It depends on the Bitcoin price, right? If all the prices, like of electricity, miners, etc. stay same but the price of Bitcoin will rise then it might be not useless to mine them.

your logic is flawed..

if you are 'hoping' for the price to increase he would be better off putting all the upfront money directly into bitcoin and hold it.. as the miners WILL NOT make that much in the 70 or so days he has left to mine.

in the end, its a horrible time to invest in bitcoin miners.. he should have done research and waited for next gen machines.

We are a beta testers for miner manufactures we are sent models before they are released. We are well aware of the next series. (months before public release/announcement)

As well companies send us beta models to try to get to change our form factor to theirs.

we have direct face to face relationships with the industry.

we are not new to this. we are just stepping out of the shadows

The life cycle of the machines are part of it. you have to be able to handle things.

You would of said the same thing about the s5's before the s7's there will be always a newer model

wu tang and 1.5 p/h are nothing to f with ^^

if anything please learn from me

I think u either smoking something really strong , or your brain is getting affected by the heat of your 80 miners or the negative pressure of having too much CFM like u said. U need to relax.

working on cooling and cfm's.

the difficulty is going insane before the halving. in the last two months we are up .9 thats crazy for sure.

Smaller Miners should be dropping we already saw 50 p/h of miners disappear this week.

We are debating on paying for elec with coins or cash for the up comming halving.

reading alot articles and reddit's

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/will-the-upcoming-mining-reward-halving-impact-bitcoin-s-price-1455126224

$800+ a BTC would make this alot better or god willing a higher miners fee

http://cointelegraph.com/news/china-bitcoin-mining-growth-may-help-overcome-worries-over-711-halving

Converting s7's to 1 fan FW we have 50 C temps and too much CFM
