Please is the coin real?

No, if you got the 88,888 airdrop it does not appear to be real coin.  Some scammers were creating coins with similar names and trying to dump them on etherdelta, selling them cheap to people who don't know the difference.  That may have been what happened here.

It can be sold on etherdelta? Because I have plenty. People may thought that it's okay to entertain these instant airdrop because it can still be sold even in low prices.  are you certain with that ?

This is a token that can be traded. PRO, you can trade in OKEX now. Congratulations, you will making money for no reason. Grin Grin

That was a different token. So there is no gain, and of course, no lose.

At first, I thought that I'm the only one who got that coins. But turns out a lot of people got this coins too.

I've already tried to send some of the PRA coins that I've already received on the wallet to Okex.com and there is no deposit arrived in the wallet. Turns out they were a completely different contract address. *I was hoping it to be true Cry

To make sure we're not confused with what it is,

This is the real ProChain that have been listed on market since 19 January. ($0.381076 according to Coinmarketcap

Contract address: 0x9041fe5b3fdea0f5e4afdc17e75180738d877a01
Symbol: PRO (now PRA)
Decimals: 18

This is the "fake" ProChain that we got in our ether wallet.

Contract address: 0x8377ee6d3545bc6ff1425ee3015dc648b149c7b2
Symbol: PRO
Decimals: 2

Aaand according to DeltaBalance, the "fake" coins were listed on EtherDelta with a damn low price lol Cheesy

I hope it helps to fulfil the curiosity Grin

Since 2 days, many of the PNS and PRO Tokens are sent to the adress 0x690A63d7023780cCBdEEd33Ef1ee62C55C47460d.

https://www.rebellious.io/explorer/address/0x690a63d7023780ccbdeed33ef1ee62c55c47460d

I don't know, what happens with this transfers - seems that someone buys these tokens for very low price.

A very different token with the same name is traded on the exchanges. But you try to compare the addresses of contracts and understand that this is not the same thing

It is marketing.  I get 2 or 3 unsolicited "airdrops" into my wallet a month -- I can only see them on etherscan -- it is mostly the dev trying to raise awareness of their project.  I admit it, I always check out the project when something shows up.

This is strange, did you try to load balance or add the token before sending? What is the error message when transaction fail?

So I read about phantom airdrops, meaning you have to send them to another wallet for them to be visible or something like that.
In etherscan I can see the token “pro” and the number of coins next to it.
When I go to send them from MEW and I click pro token it shows the balance as 0

I’m not familiar with smart contracts, but is there a way that there locked in my wallet for X amount of time before I cand spend/send them?

These random tokens that suddenly appear in your ETH account address are what is usually distributed by automated airdrops. Basically the coin developers decided to promote their coin by sending what they call "airdrops." Airdrops are freely distributed tokens that are given based on specified criteria or bitcointalk endorsement. The number of tokens you receive on your account is can vary based on developer's rules.

I see same as SIM and PNS (penis)
