Anyone heard anything about the issue with cryptsy? I tried to withdraw a bunch of 8bit almost 2 months ago and they never showed up on the block chain. Cryptsy has stopped responding to me.

hmmm... I was also affected by the problems at Cryptsy a few months ago, but I was able to withdraw when they put their wallet back online.
I hope you didn't lose much if that's the case.
They finally cancelled the withdraw just now, I have my coins back! So stoked, not a whole lot a lttle over 1300 though

not alot 1300 coins? I;m very very happy for you, in a few months thats over 1 maybe 2 btc Wink Grin or a masternode for Roll Eyes good profit

I have made a fairly major update to the faucet.
Both in terms of look/feel and payout. (no worries to anyone awaiting payment, no balances were touched)

What do you all think?  On the right track?

Maybe someone could make a  video on how to set up a masternode..single and multiple node. I would donate to this cause.
Hi guys
I can make that video when i get back from holiday in 9days.
Reason to wait is i only have my laptop with me, and dont run any nodes from this comp.
I could setup nodes from this comp too, but dont have coins available to do so.
To the ones getting error msg, try to change rpcport first, if this fails, try another of the forwarded ports you have available. (make sure the ports you are trying to use is actually open...
Several times i had to change rpc port in config to get wallets running again.

Happy staking/masternoding Smiley

That would be great. I would be happy to donate some 8bit coins for this project.

i cant find the error

I had the same problem once upon a time...

Turns out my ISP was blocking the port.

I ended up renting an AWS server.

I had same experience with trying to run a masternode at home on Comcast. A Vultr.com VPS fixed this issue.

Hmmm...  I run several masternodes on Comcast without issue.  If you own any routing gear,  just flip your Comcast modem to "bridging mode" and use your gear to define your network.   Honestly cuts 90% of the Comcast crap out of the picture and largely turns them into a dumb Internet pipe.  (BTW, the 8bit facucet is on a meanservers.com VPS,  not my cable modem.)

I have the same issue with two out of 12 masternodes.10 other nodes are working fine.
Just got back from 2 week vacation so i will look into it tomorrow.Need some rest now after 14 hours driving.

No two wallet should be opening the same PORT and no two wallets should be opening the same RPCPORT.

You can change the default port and rpcport by suppling their values in the config file.

So by default the master node will use PORT 9999 if you run more than 1 master node you will need to change the PORT and the RPCPORT.

Without at least pubkey (your public 8BIT address) or txid I can't help.
