not to derail

sorry guys on the private pool ,

we had issues today and i had to bring the box down to patch for the raven wallets hack via yiimp open RPC hole  that  lead to tons of pools losing coins

https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp/commits/next

the server is all patched and a new IP as well, cloudflare is messed up and isp keeps assigning new IPs , I will get a new static sometime tomorrow
all your shares are safe so those who mined will still get credit on the block.

if you dont get a payout pm or hit me in discord and ill send you your share.

anyone have any D3 mods or recommended settings for them?

Blissz firmware update is good. Lower power and lower temps.

Didn’t blissz have to stop that due to legal stuff??

That would appear to be the case:

You can still use the firmware

Links have been taken down

There was still links throughout the thread last time I looked. Might be gone now though. Some people might still have it though

I noticed that Nicehash listed the CN Heavy algo.

Been out of the loop for a bit, wondering how it runs on the RX 470? R9 280X?

Currently the CN gets like 600hs with the good old Tahitis and only uses like 120 Watts.

Wondering if the switch is worth it.

380 2Gb - 276 h/s on cn-heavy, kinda shit Undecided. rx 470 with samsung mem goes over 900, rx 570 hynix ~ 770hs.

Just ran into this article.

https://www.theverge.com/2018/5/30/17408610/asus-crypto-mining-motherboard-gpus

The motherboard supports up to 20 GPU's, only catch is it's all risers. However it eliminates the need for PCIe-to-USB adaptors and the USB cables connect directly to the mobo. The PCIe adapters were a major source of instability anyway. I cannot see 20 GPU's working nicely on Windows, probably only works on a Linux based system. Might still be interesting to see mining pioneers testing this with Windows.

Using 7 x470s, my averages are: 575 hs and ~85 watts per GPU.

Settings on SMOS XMR Stak:

CC: 1100
MC: 1900
PL: 6
Temp Target: 70

Would anyone be interested in a submerged cooled bitcoin miner?
I have an opportunity to test a prototype which is built on a  flat pcb that can be submerged in novec fluid or oil. Not a tube with fans.
This is purppse built for submerged cooling by one of the leaders in bitcoin miners (not shitmain).
I am located in Australia I would like to do a group buy if possible. The unit would be about $1000USD you just build the submerged part. If I have some interest I will list the specs. I would expect it to be at least the equivalent of the top miners available today. Just waiting on the specs from the manufacturer.

I'm getting ready to ditch long-term xevan mining and go full-ham on CN7.... with all nvidia I have left.   I think XMR still has yet to 'moon'.   If it keeps up with fighting asics;  its value should go up pretty high compared to history.

This CN7 FPGA that's up for sale....

I can't believe people are that gullible;  even if it is a legitimate thing..... gullible.    I mean;  83 euros just in shipping....   on top of all other issues I have pointed out in their thread.

Makes me curious....
curious about stupidity.
I think FPGA's are more centralized than asic look at the prices their talking how many small miners can pay $4000-$5000 for one miner plus the algos their talking are going to crush these little coins I think it's a freaking joke ppl with their greed are turning cryptos into a circus
Well, not all of them are priced that high. There are various threads, some are being offered at the same price point as a GPU.

You have to admit the product looks extremely tempting and there's a good chance it could actually be legit (I assume you're referring to the Dwarf FPGA). Also, the fact (lure?) of them being sold in a limited quantity is exactly the same tactics the ASIC manufacturers are doing it and you know it yourself: only the first batch really makes you money...

If the Paypal+credit card payment combo actually provide the buyer protection they are supposed to, I'm not sure there's much risk involved in taking a punt. I haven't yet, but I'm not ruling it out.

p.s all are welcome to join my private pool, we mine raven 5 days and other x16 coins based on difficulty the remaining two days. 2.2 ghs in the pool so far and we beat estimates off all these scam pools like suprnova , etc

Interesting... PM sent.

ill PM later.  now that my compiler seems to be working, im going to dig up the x16r source I downloaded to compile originally... I think it was an x16r.   Ill keep you in the loop as I figure out more.

im still out and about dealing with some things tonight.  Hopefully I can devote an hour or two.

sounds good, honestly i dont mind paying a flat fee for a miner but when you solo mine it’s detrimental to have
the rig disconect once every 45 mins , when youn might br getting a huge share rate at that point  and a chance of getting a block is missed , keep us posted please ill be sharing the pool ip with anyone interested, reason I dont want it public is due to ddos attacks etc .

we found three blocks today

i need a recompiled x16 miner myself, im solo mining some x16 coins but dev fees mining always fucking interupts And has cost me some blocks.  Anyone know any non dev fee x16 miners for amd and nvidia?

most of my rigs are on x16 now

p.s all are welcome to join my private pool, we mine raven 5 days and other x16 coins based on difficulty the remaining two days. 2.2 ghs in the pool so far and we beat estimates off all these scam pools like suprnova , etc

they might pay u a bit below your expected a day buy never the bonus blocks , ive doubled my rate of raven mined most days and with 1 min blocks  and the large number of blocks those pools smash. im convinced they are stealing
I'll send my x16 miners your way I like mining raven I've been mining on cryptopool.party seemed to pay the best I received the lowest on suprnova
Send me a pm for ip address sir

If the prog/pow that Ohgodacompany is proposing for ethereum to change to gets some traction GPU's will be the hottest hardware in town again. See link below:
