The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

What did you get scammed on? That is bad and I hope you and others are compensated. Is there a chance that the community managers for the projects that you are participating in are serving you under false pretenses? Like creating a bounty or airdrop campaign without the founders knowledge? Crazy to think that there could be some cash grab ring of fake bounties and airdrops.

Sure it is,that is why we shouldnt be wasting our time and effort joining these free airdrops because most of them are scams, dont ever try to waste your time instead you should try bounty hunting because it is much profitable, and the tokens you will get can get your ass a lot of money when these bull runs happens that is why we should be focused with these bounty campaigns.

I, my self don't even now how airdrop is, but most of the people said that airdrop ate scam so I decided not to join on it, but I'm willing to join so that I now what it is.
then all depends on our own because the decision is on our own hands when it's clear it is a scam then why don't you join in it, it is just you've been stuck in it. so in my opinion it is tantamount to suicide

Of course it is,why would you waste your time to these scams? there are less chances that these tokens are going to have some value in the future that is why it is not worth our time! focus more in boutny campaigns so that you will be making a lot of money out from these campaigns, you can easily make thousands of dollars from these campaigns if you are going to do it full time.

What's the problem? You do not lose anything even if most of the scum. I've heard stories about how some coins from airdrops grew a hundred times and people got a bunch of money from nothing
If it's from my own very much once the problem especially when it comes to security and fraud meding we avoid an awful lot of people who have become victims of air drops ... so it all is an issue or impact that would occur if the merge in the air drops

You are absolutely right, now there are a lot of scams in airdrops, especially if you need to leave any data about you, then it's better not to say any data and it's better not to register at all with such airdrops because there is a possibility that you are giving some of your data to hackers.
Yes I agree with official notice now many scams on the air drop then we must take heart again ore do not get our data in use by the hecker, or better to stay away from a project like this it's safer

It's true that my friends, airdrop just wasted our time alone, I am very disappointed from the many airdrop that I follow no one pays me, the ad is really sweet can be big prizes but the fact is fake or big bullshit.

Why would you choose airdrops over bounty campaigns? bounties can give you thousands of dollars and those tokens you will get can easily reach the coinmarketcap and be listed into some good exchanges while those tokens from airdrops wont,or have less chances to get listed into any exchanges because these airdrops are from unknown developers.

you say so right. Most of the airflows on the market are scam. we need to do very good research. we do not have a loss but it is still a good thing to be careful.

I think i agree with you.i have fairly large jotter where i keep records of all the airdrops i have participated in,only a handful of their tokens are in my wallet.I keep questioning the rationale behind wasting ones precious time on thrash.I only participate in airdrops of projects that have proven to be worthwhile.

99% is definetely a high estimate. At the current airdrop rate which is many a day I would say 50% are legit, 40% just fake and 10% really scams that ask for your private key etc. i started participating in airdrops in January at the average rate of 2 airdrops sign ups per day. Up to today I have received 19 different coins totaling about $85 combined at the current market rate. Many have not hit the markets yet so up to know received the coins but no value but as the the passes values keep coming in and coins keep showing up in my wallet. So I would reccomend airdrops even tough few dont pay off and please watch out for scams of course.

If you have spare time, you can spend a minute or two registering to airdrops. Just make sure you will NEVER give your private key to any airdrops.

This is not so at all. I believe it is the 2018 airdrops that are mostly scam.
