Can I directly buy the domains from namecheap paying them with bitcoin?
Namecheap takes Bitcoin through Bitpay, so I don't see why not.
that's nice.
Would try to buy a domain this Sunday!
Btw how does the seller get paid? In bitcoins?
You can ask me to buy direct, so we can do it faster without Namecheap.
Then I get paid direct from you, and you get a domain push direct and instant from me.
If used Namecheap as a marketplace, both sides (seller and buyer) gets goods but they are limited for 1 day to spend goods (using funds and domain) because of security check.
If paid by Bitcoin, it can be less, if paid by any other fund source can be more. (not more then 3 days)

Direct is faster (it's instant).

if you wanted to sale for fiat
you should of stated starting price is $$$ dollars in btc,
that way if the price of bitcoin goes up or down your still technically asking for the same.
your selling for btc value not fiat value no?

Yes, it was my bad.

just a question,
I understand you changed the reserve because of price of bitcoin but your auction was not based on fiat it was just pure btc.
your starting bid was .03 btc not dollars.

Yes, it was bad idea, as I wanted to sell cheap, but not THAT cheap.

you know you cant go to ebay and decide to change the starting price of an item when it already has bids. it defeats the purpose of an auction .

I know and that's why I don't use eBay. Smiley

Auction date didn't happen, you changed it is what happened man.
Please do not say this is off topic because its right on topic,
also not trying to make your thread a mess, because  I want to bid but if your going to change the terms again on this one I dont want to.

Just saying man.

Yes. Auction date happened. I changed price as reserved, as I did not want to sell that cheap. .03 at that time was about 6$ which does not covers even what I spent to get all the domains. I would be in big minus if I sold on .03BTC.
As, it's not same if BTC price is 500$ or 200$ ... 0.03BTC@200$=pure loss.
It's OK, you did not spammed, as you asked question about domains and it's up to me to answer, as I just did.
Now, just to be real, not more than that - examine domain registration prices on Namecheap, as most of my domains (all in this topic) are on Namecheap.
What would you do?
Not just you - anyone.
You register a domain for ~11-12$ and you hope to sell it for a few bucks more - rite?
I don't target some extra high prices, as I want to sell, not to keep em only for me.
Sure there are my domains I love and I will keep for myself with building them and making better sites, as I love that and I do that.
In short - I done that to avoid loss which would be about 40% or more.
It was no cheating, it was only defence of price.
Nobody was fooled, nobody harmed.
I hope this is a proper answer. If not, ask more, no problem of any kind.

Cheers!

if those are not cheap, I don't know what's cheap >

Thanks for the reply, I see you are going with fiat not btc.
you did change the auction terms. its black and white what you typed.

but again good luck on your auctions. just make people clear you want fiat but in btc value.

What happened to this auction and the bids there?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/big-94-domains-auction-914319

I have to ask. about this

You had alot of people offer .03 btc which was the starting price.

but since you didnt like how your auction was going you decided to post this.

"ALL domains are reserved by me @ 0.05BTC
If anyone wants to bid, have to bid higher then that.
2 days left until auction ends."

after you had offers for your auction.

you basically changed your auction  rules and terms because you didn't like the bids.

"Auction date happened to it. Smiley"
