I'd be willing to buy both of your silver bars like you were talking about, but I don't like hastling with escrow, as I've many problems in trading. You can review my reputation to decide whether or not if you want to send them. Have done $1000's over PayPal with a member  on the forum (don't know if they want their name disclosed), but if you want their name and I'll message him and ask to post on the thread.

Also have many other trades you can reference

Hi Wardrick,

My offer by PM was to have OgNasty as escrow - you send him btc, I send you silver, you get silver tested at your LCS and OgNasty releases bitcoin to me on your satisfaction.

In your above post you seem to be asking me to send silver to you first no escrow.  Are you off your fucking door mate?

I am cool with you wanting to get the metal tested, cool with escrow, cool with selling near spot....not cool with me sending first no escrow to someone with less trust than me.  You say you don't want to use escrow because you have had bad trades in the past - that alone is a reason to use escrow.   I have had zero problems trading on this forum over a few years with a few btc at stake.

Liad, thank you for the kind words, it has been great trading with you.

I think LesbianCow is legit enough.
I can tell you that I have sent him hundreds of dollars few times and I received my package few days after.

I won't even think for a second before dealing with Lesbian Cow.

After a lot of research, the poured silver is either sunken treasure or a homemade piece with a stamp similar to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131960366787
Probably the latter.  Grin

I couldn't pin any history or timeframe on the pour but it's still a really interesting piece.  Thanks for allowing me to inspect the fine details.

Thanks for reporting back.  I suspect it is a homemade piece.  Whoever poured it did a beautiful job imho...

I'll take the silver bars. Would just have to get them verified at a local coin shop so there's no problem with the trade. Give me a PM.

Sounds good, let's talk via PM...

I only see perfectly stamped gold bullion, is there a place that sells rough ones like the ones for sale here?

There are some older Engelhard gold pours around - hard to find at anything other than large premiums though.  I almost got my hands on a 3 oz one but I was out hustled at the last minute...

There are some older perth mint ones as well, but same issue as above.

Thanks for the info!  Smiley

No Problem!

Would you consider a trade for the privateer? Perhaps 1g of Valacambi gold + .0075 BTC?

That is a fair offer however I am not looking for trades right now.

Thanks and I have no doubts about the purity.  Can you tell what the stamp says or show an enlarged picture of the stamped region?

I will do the research if I can see the stamp enlarged.  Smiley

There is not a Maker's Mark stamp, only purity and weight on both sides.  Here are some zoomed in photos:

Greatly appreciate the photos!  I do see there is no Makers stamp and I'll do my best to research these tonight and try to find out the main places where similar pieces were poured.  Hopefully I can get back to you with something conclusive and I'll pick it up if I can attach some history to it.  Smiley

Me too as every pour is unique.  The pressed bars seem very sterile in comparison.
