It is 2.4 million accounts or user ids and it does not convert to 2.4 million users because many users have many accounts.

Now you confused legendary rank with VIP rank. 50 BTC Donation give VIP rank , not legendary rank.

Thank you DdmrDdmr, I wanted to include that with my original reply, but I was having the toughest time finding Loyce's thread. I thought I was going crazy while I helplessly scrolled through their created threads. I'd give your post a merit if I had it.

This was primarily my point originally though, and it is certainly better illustrated now that Ddmr has found the reference I was searching for; There seems little justification for creating a similar thread that offers much less, because it would seem beneficial that you either direct your efforts towards assisting the already established versions of the thread, or to at least aim your actions at a particular niche, such as compiling the best examples of these exact kinds of threads.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
There are two recent very good and complete index posts to threads on Bitcointalk:

[GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread (until there is a dedicated subforum?) by LoyceV
Index to popular bitcointalk threads by xtraelv

You’re obviously entitled to create your own post on the matter, but perhaps some of the work has already been done in recent posts. The shame of it all is that they are not pinned somewhere as informational references, and whatever is created as a post will inevitably sink to the nth page of the section it is posted sooner than later.

There are many threads that seek to accomplish exactly the same goal and compile a list of useful threads for beginner's. Most of these threads have dozens of helpful links and many of the same links that you have here. Some of the threads you've listed here are stickies, that everyone should be reading anyways, but for some reason you don't place all of the stickies which behooves me. I would suggest that you look around, and notice what kind of work and effort has been put into similar lists before attempting to compile your own. I believe you are re-creating the wheel without bringing anything unique to the table. You're going to need more than 10 threads to encompass anything that resembles a foundation of knowledge for beginner's.

This seems a good list  Wink. In the big ocean that is bitcointalk, I suppose it's quite convenient to have the important topics on hand.

Thanks for sharing, I'll bookmark it and take a further look when I have more time. It seems to be more oriented to newbie members, but I'm sure there will be many interesting things for the not so newbies like me too.
