Just don't be hasty on learning all of the threads whether if it is a guide or not. You should start on the basic first before learning complicated things. As you mentioned that you are looking for a thread about sending a btc from your wallet to exchange or exchange to your wallet.

It's always great to know the central list of threads that can help both the newbie and us Legendaries alike.  By all means jump in an contribute as a newbie as quickly as you can but don't forget there are community expectations on your behaviour here in the Forum (which is where reading up on them is both helpful and recommended)

Why are there so many guides. I can't get to this at once. Anyway, I will just bookmark this thread to my browser and will check later.

Anyway I do not see any related thread regarding on how to spend bitcoin or to make transactions like the process of transferring bitcoin from wallet to exchange or exchange to wallet. Is there any? I like to know please. Thank You.

Don't worry mate, it's easy and there's a lot of information out there, as LoyceV said.

Also, don't let the huge pile of information scare you away. Even after more than 3 years on these boards, I'm learning new stuff every day. That's what makes it fun, and that's the reason why people who are really interested in crypto, become hooked to the forum.

Sending Bitcoin varies per wallet and per exchange. You can probably find a guide or Youtube video for a certain wallet, but I consider this to be very basic. If you entered Bitcointalk without ever sending or receiving Bitcoin, you should try Smiley

Does "Hidden pages/ features on the forum" compiled by tranthidung count as a thread for inclusion in the list, or is it too stand alone?

Added.

Added. I've given you your own History subsection Cheesy

Added.

Just in case there aren't enough guides for Electrum users, I recently created a guide on how to verify with PGP:

Unless I am missing something, it does seem that the wall observer thread should be on the list somewhere, no?
Added. I gave it a honourable spot on top, and made it link to new posts:
That must mean that I missed the point?  You are trying to emphasize conciseness?  getting a lot of information in a small amount of space?  I will concede that the WO thread does not tend to provide that.
I'm not sure, so I just added it Cheesy

I've also added a some of my own topics:

Loyce, could you add Electrum Lightning Network walkthrough to the list if you happen to update it at some point?

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

Who's going to read half a million posts in a guide?

Even if WO thread had its own category as trollbox thread.

From my quick glance, the wall observer thread seems to be missing from the various link index threads too (of course, LoyceV cannot take the blame for that), for some strange reason - even though WO ongoingly remains the most popular of BTCTalk threads.

Hello LoyceV,

Do you think this topic of hd49728 is feasible to be added to your index topic: List of Answered Suggestions. Please don't create topics before read them all!?

I find it very useful but, if course, you have the final call.

@OP can you please move this thread on B&H section
Done! Although I haven't even added the last posts yet, xtraelv's long list got me demotivated since I feel a continuous pressure to distribute my time.

and bump at least weekly.

@OP can you please move this thread on B&H section and bump at least weekly. Its took my 10 minutes to find this thread for some reason. I think it would more better if could sticked (pinned) on there. Because I believe most of newbies need to read this thread and they could find some important thread links easily.

Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN) and other 'Layer 2' Protocols
Lightning Network FAQ (and outdated version) (by BitCryptex)
I expect the need for a Bitcointalk Layer 2 child board to only increase Smiley

Looks great, thank you! Too bad no one else is interested in making 'Layer 2' guides. Since you got a new VPS, when are we going to set up your Lightning Network node Wink?
