There will be more cryptocurrency established online stores, and also for offline or local transactions. Digital currency will be propagated towards public comsumption one the fully decentralized world will be implemented by most of the people around the world. Cryber attacks from any thieves will be possible to happen, because paper money will be less in use when this time comes.

Total decentralisation won't be fully achieved, the world around has less privileged folks, areas with no electricity nor Internet connection, people who are uneducated. There are technicalities associated with decentralisation only a few understands this mass majority don't.

With Blockchain's emerging popularity, some industries industry of the world have improved for the better. This is because of the many benefits Blockchain technology provides such as transparency, and efficiency. If the world went to use Blockchain for nearly everything from finance to healthcare, then everything would behave in an autonomous and decentralized manner.

Now, imagine if Blockchain becomes so successful that it replaces worldwide governments and even central banks themselves. People will gain freedom once more, in a new decentralized world governed by the Blockchain and AI. Laws would be enforced by AI, while governance would be made from the Blockchain itself. Everyone will have a part or say in this world, being able to influence their vote with decentralized tokens or coins within one global Blockchain. Retail stores will no longer depend on cashiers, as automated systems controlled by AI will take place (powered by Blockchain to keep track of items and transactions). Banks would become non-existent as cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum would take over the world.

While all of this sounds more like dream, it could very well become a reality in the future if people adopt decentralized solutions at a large scale.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

It does sound like a dream or a snippet from a futuristic scifi film, but who knows? With how fast technology has changed things and is changing the way we live, there may come a time when decentralization would free us from the people controlling every aspect of our lives, like the big banks and pharmaceutical companies. It won't be without any hiccups of course. I don't think we'd make it without the human factor. And the governments and big corporations have every means to stop giving cotrol to the people.

Pursuant to what I read, an article about the future of decentralization. It clearly states that " In a decentralization future, the concept of ownership, creation, stewardship, collaboration and many other things are all fundamentally alterted. As human beings begin to realize the scarcity of a shared future, as signs of our extinction become more imminent — it will change us. It will force us to think differently about how we go about our “business-as-usual”. This may necessitate each generation have their own 2008, their own crises that they must face. Major global, economic and technological and political obstacles to overcome. Time and time again, decentralization will show the way."
Every changes has pros and cons. It is quite an ideal scenario of a sophisticated society, yet we don't know that it will have a chaos in the midst.

I think decentralized society is very unlikely.  If it can only happen at a lower level and only health services, consumer, economic management, social management.  There are many other aspects in the human world as families live together and cannot disband them.  Distributed society does not happen when we still use cash.  The rich will stop this because they keep a lot of cash and they will not give their property information to the internet.

This doesn't totally sound like a dream. It sounds like a possible utopian future, given that blockchain tech has developed a lot and lot advanced these days. Anyhow, even though it might seem possible for the entire world to use blockchain as its main system, it less likely to happen in our timeline. Decentralized government sounds illogical for the most part. Our species is a greedy one. We also want more and more power. If it's possible, each of us must have the desire to rule the world. There's where this system won't work out given the circumstances of this era. In conclusion, it is not impossible, but it is just less likely to happen soon in the near future.

Blokchain expects prosperity, followed by the future. In the near future, a completely new economy will be created with the help of this technology, in which market participants can do without intermediaries.

I find this statement so ambitious now that crypto world is now on the process of consideraring in regulating it. While it is ideal and advantageous as it may seem, the acceptance of every country is more important now. Reality is that we need to prove first if Blockchain Technology is really helpful in the real world or just a piece of drawn theories. That is the reason why we need to support those projects that will really make a positive impact to the society, that way it will be a one step a time process for Crypto.

Sincerely I see the possibility of this coming to place on a global scale. Let's check it out, with the rate the world is advancing as well as technology nowadays data breaches is getting more serious and to an extent we are losing our privacy. Now bearing this in mind and relating it to blockchain; blockchain tends to offer solution to this and that is decentralization. So when the world gets to know all about blockchain they will have no other choice than to start using all services offered.
In my own view, a completely decentralized world will be a world where transparency and trust will be on the high side.

I do not think that it could be possible. Rich people government the world and they will do everything to protect their power.
But decentralized world looks like anarchy, right?  Smiley

A fully decentralised world would mean 100 percent freedom without any regulations and I believe that it would completely destroy modern society, because 90 percent of people cannot imagine a world without any regulation.

This will never happen. The decentralized world simply cannot exist in reality. Without a clear management economy, it will be chaos. Cryptocurrency will not replace anything with itself, especially whole governments. Cryptocurrency will be another type of means of payment, and no more. Some too exaggerate its possibilities and value.

People who rule the world will not allow 100% acceptance of cryptocurrencies, blockchain yes, but cryptocurrency no. It would be great if the blockchain and cryptocurrencies at least officially accepted in developed countries.

Decentralized is still not completely complete when the exchange is still concentrated and despite the exchange decentralized but it still does not attract investment. I see a lot of work to do before decentralization is applied to this life

It will definitely be more efficient and automated like we already seeing increased IoT implementation and robotics being deployed under the umbrella of all these advanced technologies like blockchain tech but i do agree with the fact that governments around the world will try to control this tech too but i think it will not be that easy.

One of the most beautiful things about blockcahin technology is transparency. Transparency is the problem with have with most government functionaries, companies, industries, firms and organizations, most especially when it comes to finance.
Once blochain technology is integrated into the system, then that problem is totally solves, but the problem is that, will they imbibe it? Most of them are afraid of doing that.

I think that this topic belongs to some other sub-forum,because you aren't talking about altcoins.
Decentralization has it's own benefits but we can't just turn it into a fetish(or a universal solution for all global problems). It might work well  in some industries, but it might turn into a disaster in other.

A totally decentralized world will never be possible in the real sense, I understand blockchain technology has been ameliorating several sectors globally, even though there are still some deterrent factors hindering mainstream adoption.  There is no way banks will become obsolete, this is because some transactions are better done in banks comparatively. A 100% decentralized world sounds more like an illusion, although anything is possible. If ever it comes, I'll be extremely glad to embrace it.

Sorry to say this but a completely decentralized world idea sounds like a socialism world and it's virtually impossible. Some sectors, some business should be controlled to maintain the stability and effectiveness. I would agree with you all, aside from "Banks would become non-existent". This would never happen as long as the goverments exist.

It will definitely bring positive changes especially related to government tasks, most of the governmental services and processes will become more efficient, transparent and automated with the help of blockchain technology but to be honest there are still a lot of hurdles in the adoption and implementation of blockchain in many parts of the world.

Exactly. There will be more efficiency within the mainstream world like never before. With the many benefits Blockchain technology provides, people will have full control of their lives. Imagine a society where third-parties no longer exist. There will be no human-based governments, Banks, human-based Universities, Cashiers, etc. Everything will be done by both Blockchain and AI in a fully transparent, autonomous, and decentralized manner. In gas stations, people could simply pay with cryptocurrencies without the need for a cashier.

As for Universities/Colleges, courses will be given by bots themselves while tuition and student information will be secured by the Blockchain. This opens up a world of endless possibilities where we no longer need to be subject to corruption, fraud, and economic instability. Of course, all of this looks like dream now since people are slowly adapting towards Blockchain technology and AI. But, I believe that within 20 to 30 years from now, we'll be experiencing a fully decentralized world like never before (if governments allow it).

Nonetheless, a fully decentralized world is what we need in order to live a better life. But, everything will depend on people's adoption of decentralized solutions for this to become viable soon. Just my opinion Smiley
